We were made to feel very welcome by Sebastian as soon as we arrived, he was warm, friendly and informative. The Nymphenburg palace is just a short stroll from the hotel and worth visiting or even just a picnic on the grounds. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the San to take you into the old town, there are several restaurants nearby, and a huge beer garden that is worth visiting. The covid 19 pandemic was just starting to take hold, sebastian and Alexandra received many cancelled bookings which were going to have a huge impact on their business, this did not stop them providing top-notch service to their guests.

Well remain here again if we return to Munich! Our family had the pleasure of spending four nights in the Hotel Lamer. It was the ideal home base for our stay in Munich. We adored the peaceful, tree lined neighborhood! It was a lovely area to stroll, close to stores and eateries, and only a 10-minute stroll from San. The trolley and bus were even closer. We walked and utilized public transportation the entire time we were there. We had a room on the upper level with a high ceiling. Although not exceptionally luxurious, the room was spotless and cozy. Our son appreciated his private bed in a private alcove. We had fans to keep us cool, and the windows opened to let fresh air in. We never heard other guests from our room and the hotel was rather peaceful. The mattresses were really comfortable. It seems typical that the shower and bathroom were fairly tiny. The breakfast at this hotel was the best part! We enjoyed freshly baked bread and pastries, muesli, yogurt, fruit, cheese, and eggs every morning. The food was of great quality! The staff was also friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed walking around the grounds of the Nymphenburg palace. The best risotto ever! And an excellent Indian restaurant. Additionally, there are a few small cafes close by.

This hotel is highly recommended. Ive visited Munich six times and this is still my favorite place to stay. We had a large and airy tower room and my teenage was glad that his bed was in an alcove giving him some privacy. We prepaid for breakfast and instead received a generous packed lunch every day, which was handy for a picnic. Jan at the front desk was extremely friendly and helped us carry heavy luggage to the room. My husband enjoyed the coffee every morning as well. Its only a 10 minute walk to San the tram, but a road works have prevented the routes to the city center. The neighborhood is peaceful and peaceful with several supermarkets and several excellent restaurants. The Indian restaurant on the same street as the hotel was particularly excellent.

This hotel was mediocre, which was surprising because of the numerous comments. Starting with the advantages, the hotel is in a lovely older building, very close to Nymphberg Palace, in a quiet neighborhood. Unfortunately, they are out of quite a few really essential necessities, such as a safe in the room, a full-length mirror, room coffee that I have had at every other European hotel I've been to, and air conditioning, which isn't too surprising for Europe or the age of the building, but still worth noting for people who need it to sleep. The room itself is fine. The bathroom is dated but functional, with a very small shower. It's mostly clean. Also, be aware that they don't offer free toiletries, only a single soap dispenser with a 5-in-one product. Also worth noting that there are only four spots to park on the street, even though they promote complimentary parking. You will likely need to park on the street.

We stayed in December 2019, but good memories last forever. And after covid 19 is finished, if you still want to see Tokyo, let's talk about house exchange once more. Because of the incredible number of repeat visitors, the location close to Nymphenburg palace, and the charming image of them in octoberfest costumes, I decided to go to the Hotel Lamer. Sadly, we didn't see their costumes, but they made up for it with their hospitable personalities, assisting us to take a taxi for dinner, explaining how to enter the palace through the side building so we could see royal sleigh carriages, and the porcelain museum before the crowds arrived, delivering tickets to the resident show before we could ask, and even helping to pay for a parking ticket we had received in Nuremberg! Clean, cozy, and delicious breakfasts! But their lively demeanor will undoubtedly be remembered. Thanks, thank you.
