The rooms were incredibly nice, cozy, and clean, there was a kettle with coffee and tea. The bathroom with a bathtub and a hair dryer are always a bonus. The employees were very pleasant and prepared to answer every request. They have a restaurant in hotel lose on Sunday, but there are also many restaurants close, and the town center is only a short stroll away. There is a pool and sauna on the first floor, as well as vending machines on each floor. The vegetarian flammkuchen see photo is the only thing I do not recommend. They typically serve it for breakfast, but since the restaurant was closed, I ordered it for lunch. It wasnt all bad, I suppose. It wasnt anything special. They could have added more vegetables or sauce.

When I am staying in a German hotel that is part of a French chain and I am in italy, why is the date format American? I hope things get better. We stayed at this hotel on a Saturday night many years ago on our same trip so we knew what to expect or at least we thought we knew what to expect. Even though we had prepaid, the online checking wanted to defraud our credit card with 100 security! After more than 650 kilometers of travel, we arrived at 19.00 looking forward to a quick swim to unwind before dinner in their recollectably excellent restaurant. Sorry, the swimming pool has been closed due to a technical problem, ok, we will come straight down for dinner. Do we need to reserve a table? Sorry, the restaurant is closed, there are many places to eat in town around 1. 5 am walk. There were just two pillows in the room. We will get more when we return from dinner in town. We received more pillows, but when I asked for milk, I was told I didn't have any. Can I get fresh milk? He was placed on the bottom of a coffee cup. When I returned to the room, I was led to the room's air conditioning unit blowing out warm regardless of settings, the temperature was between 24 and 26 degrees overnight. The room is nice with a to, a good sized bathroom, and enough space to store our large luggage and hang our clothes. I felt clean and tidy when we arrived. The sauna and swimming pool were closed due to technical issues and the hotel only offered breakfast in its restaurant. Breakfast is uplift was ok, but choice of coffee was limited to instant coffee. There are a number of varieties of honey and jam. I think breakfast has good room for improvement overall.

When returning from northern Italy, we primarily stop here in Offenburg. I've reviewed my other reviews since 2017. We gave another shot after being a little let down last year. nothing changed. The location is still convenient but peaceful, the rooms are large, and the breakfast buffet is excellent. However, the restaurant, which was excellent several years ago, was unavailable for supper. In the city center, we discovered a reasonable alternative. When making a reservation, the pool was still mentioned as not being accessible due to hardware issues. Is there a manager to run this otherwise impressive hotel? They seem to complain about the difficulty in finding adequate personnel.
