Stayed 3 nights in July and asked for a room at the rear of the hotel as it was on a busy road and noisy. It was better but still traffic noise. Breakfast was good but coffee by cup and slow. The room had a good view, but a little tired. Was not happy that the room this was advertised as 125 but we were charged 145 per night which seemed expensive, what was the point of the sign in the room as totally misleading.

On the way to Italy, 28 of the intrepid bow club stopped here for a few days, and the hotel and staff were very pleasant. Stockasch itself is a lovely little town with a few bars and restaurants dotted about. The food at the hotel is comfortable, albeit a bit plain.

My friend Philip Gassed, who I met at the hotel when we first arrived, gave us a tour and told us about the hotel, bar, etc. On our way out and on our adventure, he would greet us with a name every day as we passed by on our way out. The room was really clean and had two single beds with plenty of space, a separate toilet room, a sink, and a huge walkin shower with steam shower. The bathroom had a balcony with nice views too. This appears to be new lodging. The exterior is charming and historical, and the rooms are fresh and new. Each floor has a sitting area that is cozy and unique as you step up and down the stairs. If you have heavy luggage or are tired from the day, there is a little elevator. Good food and attentive service are served in the eateries. I had a wonderful stay and when I visit this part of Germany again I would stay here.

The food at the hotel is very good quality and very friendly. The staff were very well trained and very friendly. It's a popular place for me to stay in this location. A great place to stay. The hotel was nice and friendly. The location is in the heart of stomach, a charming german town close to lake Constance. The rooms are simple yet clean, and the staff also cares about detail. The room facilities include a mini bar that serves schnapps, and a lovely garden with a nice garden to enjoy a drink of champagne.

I've visited this location at least 510 times in my former business life, the last time in probably 2005. I've always enjoyed it, especially the restaurant. Originally decided to go on a business adventure once more. Both the restaurant and the room have been redecorated. Same people are in charge. Everything appears a little unkempt. Service was adequate, but please do not train new young employees to be ready for service at a higher volume. The food was adequate, but the sauce was a little outdated. I'm not sure. I'll have to return once more at the end of the week in the hopes the place will be a little more lively.
