Beautiful hotel tucked away in the wine-making hills of Ockfen close to the Saar river. From the hotel we visited Trier which was a very nice experience. We visited during end of November, which is low season. The hotel itself is very well maintained, very beautiful, and the staff (like the people of the area) are all very friendly. There are play rooms and a sauna, so plenty of opportunities for relaxing. The hotel has a restaurant which is open to the public. Highly recommend visiting.

wunderschöne Lage am Fuss des Ockfener Bocksteins. Direkt an der Fahrrad Route. Sehr freundliche Crew. Trotz Ruhetag des Restaurants gab es ein Winzerbuffet mit einer Weindegusation. Sehr tolle Weine, unbedingt durchprobieren. Verschiedene Kissen zum Schlafen können gewählt werden. Gute Beten. Leckeres Frühstück. Rundum ein perfekter Aufenthalt.

The restaurant was excellent and accomodated us even though we arrived right at the time they were supposed to close the kitchen. The room was great and clean, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area.

Beautiful hotel in the countryside by vineyards, the river Saar very closeby. My dogs were very welcome and we all had plenty of space in the family room which was superb. Breakfast was very good. Easily one of the best hotel I've ever stayed in

Gelegen op een steenworp van Saarburg en Trier biedt Weinhotel Klostermühle een vriendelijke ontvangst en ruime nette kamres. Minpuntje is dat er geen lift is en je de koffer zelf naar de verdieping moet brengen. Op dinsdagavond is het restaurant gesloten maar kan je een Winzervesperbuffet met wijndegustatie reserveren. Dat geeft je ook de mogelijkheid de wijnen van het domein te proeven en eventueel je selectie uit te breiden. Verzorgd ontbijtbuffet waar de spiegeleitjes voor jou à la minute gebakken worden. Voor de hotelgasten is er op de tweede verdieping ook een televisiekamer met zelfbedieningsbar, waar op de eerlijkheid van de klant wordt gerekend.Heel lichte slapers storen zich misschien aan de vlakbijgelegen spoorweg, maar ik heb er geen enkele hinder van ondervonden en mijn slaap is licht...

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, Leider hatte das Buffet am Vorabend ein wenig enttäuscht. Eigentlich war es nur bis 20.00 Uhr. Ich hatte mich aber vorab telefonisch erkundigt, ob ich bei einer Anreise um ca. 20.00 Uhr noch etwas zu essen bekomme. Dieses wurde bejaht. Das Buffet war trotz der späten Zeit noch Ausreichend, jedoch kalt. Trotzdem wurde anschließend der volle Preis berechnet. Daa fand ich schade.
