The lodge has a wonderful location overlooking the sea. There's a big terrace where you can have a meal or a drink with a fantastic view of the sea. The lodge was very clean and the service top-notch. Very much to be recommended

Situated at a nice and peaceful area in Sekondi, the lodge has a great compound and a nice environment. The restaurant serves good food, although waiting times were quite long (we were informed everything is prepared freshly). I was looking forward to the sea view, but unfortunately the beach front was a little underwhelming. Regardless, I still liked my stay. Internet connectivity in rooms was horrible, and I wasn't able to connect to the WiFi throughout my stay. Although there is some connectivity when sitting outside. The check-in process was not as smooth, as we had to wait at the reception for about 10 minutes and had the staff checking our reservation. You would expect staff to be aware of all check-ins for the day to make the process as smooth as possible when visitors arrive. The rooms were neat and had clean running water, although my only concerns were with the lighting. Not all lights in the room and the bathroom worked. And lastly, if you're not driving, you may want to have the contact of a taxi driver who would be able to come fetch you if you wanted to head into town, as public transport rarely came to that side and Uber is nonexistent.

You get what you pay for.... I waited a while before writing this review and I'm glad I did... To keep things short without reviewing them in a negative way, like I mentioned above, you get what you paid for... If you're not traveling on a budget, go for higher. You get according to the amount you paid for...

My stay was fine but the hotel should keep a good eye on their staff and how they interact with customers.

The towels were dirty and stained. Bedseet had stains on it and also torn. Pillow case covers looked old and stained, very disgusting for a so-called hotel. The bathroom had NO floor mat or towel. The shower head was broken and rusted. The toilet seat didn't look clean. The customer service sucked as well. My gf threw up upon eating their jollof rice. I would never recommend this place to anyone. It's a place for more like prostitutes or one night stands. It basically has a brothel type vibe to it. Amenities are either old or rusty. I regretted booking it. DON'T LET THEIR ONLINE PICS fool ya. The place is trash!

Review of Veivaag lodge Rm 13 Toilet does not flush and it smells of septic waste which comes to the room Toilet has to be manually flushed with water after doing my business Sink in the room is broken and leaking Shower does not drain properly after shower. Might be clogged somewhere in the drain? Room My bed was not made and room was not cleaned after first night Towel the receptionist or attendant brought was dirty Fridge was not working and it spoiled my CAD$145 chocolate gift (all of it melted) Mosquitoes in the room. Feeling a bit feverish already. The bar guy and the breakfast lady are super friendly Is this what I paid $70 per night for ? Come on you can do better. I have photos of the mess

The hotel is deserted . The rooms are terrible . The prices of rooms , food and drinks are completely overpriced. Actually hated it there and couldn’t wait to leave as soon as possible.
