Stayed for two nights. Room sizeable and clean, a few improvements needed in the bathroom but everything worked. Pool and bar area very nice and drinks reasonably priced, cheaper than in the bars in town. There was air conditioning in the room but I didn’t try to get it on because I didn’t need it, but a friend in another room tried and wast sure, maybe you need to pay for a remote control or something. Breakfast in the morning was included and while nothing spectacular did the job. Best thing about the place is its staff, who were all really friendly and helpful. Tourist tax is charged at 10 euros a night per room, which is the 4 star tax bracket, this isn’t a 4 star UK standard but a perfectly good 3 star with great staff .

Hotellet har en perfekt beliggenhet; 100 meter til den fine, lange sandstranda i Laganas (langgrunt), med strandbarer og restauranter på rekke og rad bortover, 500 meter til hovedgata hvor det er liv og røre med alle puber, disco, småbutikker. Veldig hyggelig, blide og hjelpsomme personale i resepsjonen. God frokost, med greit utvalg. Savnet grønnsaker som løk og paprika, samt frukt som for eksempel oppskjært vannmelon. Kunne fylle på vann i termosflaska i vanndispenseren de hadde i frokostområdet. Fikk rene håndklær hver dag. Veldig fornøyd med renholdet. Gode senger. Fin størrelse på rommet. Supermarket og butikker rett ved hotellet. Hotellets solsenger var noe slitt, de bør skiftes ut. Badet var noe ufresht/slitt sammenlignet med rommet forøvrig. NB: aircondition er ikke inkludert så beregn 43 euro for det.

After a very relaxing week at the Posidon Beach Hotel, we have just returned home. The hotel is situated on the shore, so we prefer to use the beachside sun loungers rather than sitting around the pool. The nice receptionists greeted us warmly when we got there. We were given a room with a balcony and a view of the pool. Every two days, the room was immaculate, with fresh towels. Every employee is very cordial, and the bartender remembers our drinks each time. Although they have a fee, these are worth 7 per set. There is a wide variety of tasty food. We never got hungry, but the pool bar is open from 10. Overall, a terrific hotel. We'll make reservations to return next year.

From September to October, we had a lovely week at the Posidon Hotel. The hotel was immaculate, and the maids came every day to clean our rooms and change towels. The cuisine was delicious, and the staff was all very kind. We got to meet some lovely people and sat by them at night. It was a pleasant walk to Calamari beach and the other way to Cameo Island.

It seemed very pleasant when we arrived. The staff was warm but stuck us with a 35 euro charge before we got a key 10 euro tourist tax each and 15 euros for the internet which didn't work around the pool. The room was not easy to get to, and to be honest, it was small. I've never been to a hotel where the bathroom sink is on one side of the room next to the absolutely minimal storage rail and the toilet shower is on the other. Unfortunately, this hotel has seen better days and needs to be repaired or at least acclimatized. The pool area was good, and the beach was very close so it was nice to walk along and hear the ocean licking across the shore. Unfortunately, the food was terrible. Breakfast included fried eggs that could be used to make clays for a pigeon shoot, omelettes that had to be scraped out of edible egg, tasteless bacon that looked like grilled ham to me, and some type of local sausage that I could not cut with the utensils that were provided oh and mini frankfurters. Lunch and dinner were not great, chips with everything, mashed potato that couldn't be picked up with a fork, esoteric sauce covering whatever meat it was meant to be, and pizza, pasta, and rice at every expense. Considering that bananas are reputed as a party location, this location was close to the restaurants but far enough away from the party scene. The hotel is amazing. The staff is extremely helpful! Special thanks to Sofia and Maria who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. For an all-inclusive rating, the cuisine met our expectations. For the price you pay, this hotel and area are a hidden gem that anyone should stay at.

Poolområdet behöver uppgraderas med nya parasoller och solstolar - går dock att använda. Önskat att poolbaren varit öppet längre än 16.00. Hade gärna tagit en eftermiddags-kvällsdrink vid poolen.
