Located in the heart of Athens and just 10 minutes walk from the main museums, it also has a good shopping district. The location is very interesting. Besides that, the staff are very friendly and attentive.

This hotel is very recommended. The place is situated right in the middle of the city next to the arch, the plaza is beautiful, and the necropolis is visible from the east walk. I also liked the breakfast. It was served on the rooftop. Not only is the breakfast so cute and delicious.

This hotel was the first stop on our trip, and home poetry set us on the right foot. We stayed here during the first week of September 2022 in the three-story Kavafis suite, all the rooms were named after Greek poets rather than rooms, and it was fantastic! The staff was very friendly and helpful in assisting us with everything we could have asked for, including recommendations for nearby restaurants. We longed for a madetoorder breakfast on the roof looking out over the Necropolis each morning. The entrance to the hotel is very simple, and there is a fairly lengthy flight of stairs to get up to the reception area, but the staff was quick to welcome us and assist us with our luggage.

The home and poetry motel is in a great location on the street, making it just a short stroll from nearly everything you could want to do in Athens. The necropolis of Athens, as well as numerous eateries, shops, the agora, Hadrian arch, and Syntagma square, were just a few of the nearby attractions. The hotel itself is opulent. Our room was very spacious and tastefully designed at an extremely affordable cost. A wallmounted air conditioner in the room kept us comfortable and not becoming obnoxious godlike hotel air conditioner units occasionally are. Although modest, the restroom was ample. The personnel was extremely cordial and helpful. Parts of the hotel lack crowds because it possesses that boutique charm. This is at best seen when it comes to the entrance. But they met us at the door, promptly took away our luggage, and transported it to the room while we were checked in. The service was excellent in every way. Papa, the room we stayed in, was located on the third story, overlooking the necropolis of Athens. I cant remember the name, but every room is named for a Greek poet. As people are settling in for breakfast in the morning, the chairs could be scraping since the space is directly beneath the outdoor terrace. This wasnt an issue because we tended to be

Charming hotel with great period features and very clean. During breakfast there is a fantastic view of the necropolis. Dinner is served with appropriate meal suggestions. Smoking is not permitted, but the whole building smells of cigarettes. A 20 s feel? We had a ferry to catch on our final day and had to leave at 7. Am. The hotel couldn't give us an early breakfast starting at 7.30 am, so we had to leave hungry. Potentially a great hotel, but a few shortcomings that might disqualify many guests.
