Compared to others, this hotel's services were outstanding, with pleasant hotel personnel. It had beautiful décor with a contemporary boutique vibe, and it had complimentary parking, and it had a decent location. However, while I was there for work, the wifi was awful, leaving me unable to access anything in the room or even the common area. Although the beds were really too soft, the rooms were adequate in terms of size, but I was forced to finish the sleep on the floor as I did in some five-star hotels due to my unstable back.

This was our second year staying at the Princess Hotel and will definitely be back. Excellent location near restaurants on the beach, clean and friendly staff, especially Artemis, Capo, Anastasia, and Lily the Cat.

Our second stay at this fantastic hotel occurred in October 2020. The hotel is in a fantastic location, close to the lovely maris girls beach and a short walk to a variety of restaurants, bars, and supermarkets. It could be that the pandemic situation played a role here, but breakfast was certainly not as excellent as last year and needs to be improved. After a 10-day stay, we have recently returned. As in 2020, the hotel is kept immaculately clean throughout. Our room was cleaned every day, and we had regular towels and linen changes throughout our 10-day stay. Unlike our previous stay, which included a double bed with a memory foam mattress, we had twin beds this time, and the mattresses were quite firm. I enjoy a firm mattress, but this took some getting used to. Although the bathrooms may use updating, they are perfectly adequate, and there is plenty of hot water from the powerful shower. The complimentary air conditioning is a plus, and it is really needed. The pool was always busy while we were there, and there was always a sun lounger accessible. The cleaning personnel and especially Capo, Nikki, and Anastasia, who frequently had a friendly smile and friendly chat. Cheese and ham were of a processed variety. The hotel is close to numerous eateries and Maris Girls beach. The entire crew is helpful, and it has a lovely pool and a pub breakfast area. However, given that this is a three-star hotel, the rooms are pleasant and sufficient, but could use some updating. As previously stated, the rooms are kept immaculately tidy throughout the entire establishment, with linens changed every two days. Our visit was pleasant, and all the employees were kind and accommodating. The only reason why we couldn't rate it five stars was because the breakfast buffet was subpar, with just melon and tinned peaches daily, a hot food buffet that was unmaintained, and some meals got cold on certain days. Toaster malfunctioning, inedible croissants, and the same mediocre jam and cereal each day. A special thanks to Anastasia at the bar in the evenings, who put in a lot of effort and made everyone feel very welcome.

Overall, I'd recommend the Princess Hotel and recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Kefalonia. After nearly two years of lockdown, we chose this wonderful hotel in Kefalonia with excellent garden spaces for Greece. The beach was just a few minutes away, and there were several nearby supermarkets. The hotel may not be suitable for people with mobility issues because there are numerous steps to the rooms and a steep incline from the road to the main reception area, but employees are always on hand. We stayed in room 21 with a view of the pool and sea. Towels were changed and the room was cleaned daily. At the buffet breakfast, the hotel adheres to good hygiene standards and requires disposable gloves. Every day, there is delicious bread and a good selection of cold meats, fruit, and yoghurt. Boilered eggs, cold sausages, and tomatoes were served in the hot section. Teas and coffee were available to the waiter, and if requested, there are unlimited top-ups. Brunch is also served at a poolside bar for an additional charge.
