Bungalow am Meer ist phantastisch und hinterlässt bleibenden Eindruck trotz Tsunamiegefahr, 2 badestrände mit Liegen, Schatten und karibischem Meer, Strandbar mit z.t live musik, der Strand auf der wilden Seite ist nicht badetauglich und hat Schildkrötengelege. Das Essen in Buffetform ist grosszügig, abends hatten wir Wahl zwischen Huhn und/oder fisch, die Fischstücke waren z t nicht ganz gar. Das Resort ist schwedisch und hat eigene schwedische Wasserfilteranlage im Restaurant um das Wasser "trinkbar" zu machen, dieses ist gratis, ansonsten Flaschenwasser. Es bleibt unklar welche Krankheiten über das Hahnenwasser aufgelesen werden könnten und was genau verbessert wird durch diese Filteranlage. Atmosphere ist entspannt, die schönsten Strände über ein Stück Wald am Meer entlang auch zu Fuss erreichbar( la perle 15min, grande anse de deshaies ca 30-45min), nur für mobile Fussgänger, sonst mit Auto in 5-10 min Parkplatz vor Strand mit diversen Strandrestaurants und immer Dusche, hat auch Schatten aber keine Liegen.Wir haben den Hotelstrand sehr genossen. Es hat ein modernes/karges Dusche/Umkleidezimmer bei der Rezeption ohne Abstellmöglichkeiten für Tasche. Das Gepäck muss man z.t selber rollen, aber bei Anfrage darf man wenigstens mit dem Auto zur Rezeption kurz anfahren. Wir waren 4 Tage da, würde auch eine Woche bleiben, käme gerne wieder

Our beach bungalow was just perfect. Very private the only people walking by were other guests in the other bungalows. We had breakfast included always a lot of fresh choices. The same with dinner. We eat dinner 4 nights and the menu was always different. The only thing I might say negative was we weren’t told that you need to put one of your room keys in the card slot inside the room to get the electric to come on. Once figured out all was great.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and a great value for the money. Private beach was definitely a bonus and was very clean. I would have liked to have washcloths and hair conditioner in the room. Note that if you are planning activities, most of the attractions are a 1 hr 40 minute drive (I.e. La Soufriere, les chutes du Carbet). Highly recommend!

Bodde 3 nätter i bungalow med trädgårdsutsikt. Trygg parkering men en bit att gå från parkering till reception med tunga väskor. Trevligt hotell/resort, jättesköna sängar, tyst och lugnt. Jättegod frukostbuffe och kvällsbuffe. Smidigt att äta på plats då det ligger lite avsides.

Clean rooms with beautiful views. This place was perfect for what we were looking for- enjoying local cuisines, a place to relax, activities offered (but not absolutely necessary). After a week, staff recognizes you and makes you feel special. Shout out to the bar staff: Daria, Djara, Darryl, Gunnar- for smiling and laughing even during the busy times; our favorite dinner server, Bianca, who is so kind and friendly; Alex, who had such knowledge of the area on our rum tour, and greeted us every time after. It was just the thing we needed to escape and really focus on living and get back to the basics.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The large room with sea view was very good and the view was breathtaking. Breakfast was very good, lunch ok and evening snacks good. The bar shuts at 2200, which is good. There is a lovely beach/forest walk to the next beach. The bus stop is a short walk away with regular buses to Deshaies and other parts of the island. The island is beautiful and easy to get around.

Beautiful resort, easy to get to using public transport (bus 103) from the port. Excellent quality food and great customer service. We were upgraded because of double booking. Our beach bungalow was wonderful. I’m looking forward to a return visit.
