Very convenient location in west end. Nothing fancy but everything we needed. Our room did have a cat odor in it and the bathrooms could use a good grout cleaning. Everything else was clean. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast in the coffee shop was excellent! We would stay here again!

An absolute gem in West End! Staff is fantastic all around. We never had contact with a staff member who didn't greet us, smile or ask if we needed something. We want to recognize specifically Santiago and his never wavering positive attitude and genuine desire to assist. Our room was exactly what we needed, cleaned everyday, quality fixtures, tasteful decor and fully functional for our needs with a nice outdoor patio. The boutique-style hotel offers a coffee shop, Bean Crazy, which serves a nice included breakfast menu, or for less than $20 USD you can have a full breakfast which will fill you right up. The coffee is roasted across the hall and is delicious. Need a souvenir? Attached to Bean Crazy you'll find it at a reasonable cost. On site security officers kept the hotel and beach area across the street at bay and were always friendly. During ceuise ship days expect the beach areas to get busy, but never fear Mr. Tucan's keeps a beach chair for you. We never were without a chair for our 10 day stay. The beach area is kept clean by the local population. The bay has a large buoy area for snorkeling, swimming and paddleboarding. The beach area is fairly shallow throughout, usually not exceeding 10 feet. If you're looking for local food, entertainment and shopping it is all within a short walk and we never had a bad meal. From street side stands to upscale dining this area has it all. All-in-all there is no need to look elsewhere. Mr. Tucan's is a top pick.

We stayed in 211. Two Queen beds, kitchenette, full bathroom. Did not have a beach view as it was toward the back of the property. This made the room exceptionally quiet. The terrace has a beach view and is a wonderful place to have a morning coffee, or evening relax. The breakfast was perfect for us, 3 ladies. Probably not enough for my husband, had he been there. That being said the breakfasts were great. Just enough to get to through to lunch. Bean Crazy was amazing, coffee was great! I would 10/10 recommend and will be staying here again.

The property is small but in a convenient location. No pool on property. The included rated breakfast was good. The hotel room that has the king bed was spacious but the floor was dirty, walking barefoot in the hotel you can tell it was dirty but it looked clean. Nice sized bathroom. Location is steps from a beach. Staff spoke English which is good. Also, they have private transportation available. Water taxis to West Bay is a five to ten minute walk away! They also have private balconies!

If you are looking for the absolute best place to stay in Roatan, look no further than Mr. Tucan. From the moment we arrived for check-in until the second we headed out after check-out, we were blown away by the service. I truly cannot say it enough: this is the friendliest staff around. They handle everything in between with such genuine care that you feel like family by the end of your stay. The LOCATION is simply unbeatable. You are right in the heart of West End, meaning you’re steps away from the best diving, shopping, and nightlife, yet the hotel still feels like a private escape. A few things that made our stay extra special: Complimentary Breakfast: It is absolutely delicious and the perfect way to fuel up for a day of exploring. Beach Chairs: Having these available was a huge hit! It made transitioning from the hotel to the turquoise waters of Half Moon Bay completely seamless. Impeccable Rooms: Our room was very clean and well-maintained throughout our stay—it was clear the housekeeping team takes great pride in their work. Peace of Mind: With 24-hour around-the-clock security, we felt incredibly safe and relaxed the entire time. Mr. Tucan offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and world-class hospitality. We will definitely be back!

Hands down best place to stay when in Roatan. The hotel, rooms, accommodations and staff are hands down the best. Clean updated rooms, steps from water with free towels and chairs while at the beach. Security is always watching and protecting even though there is now reason for them. Check-in was awesome and make sure you call if you have rental car for directions and Santiago will meet you and help parking. Don’t skip out on coffee shop as that was the best coffee (wife bought 6# to bring home, but food and staff are amazing. A must stay if you want an amazing stay in Roatan.

We loved our stay at Mr Tucan. The room was clean and bathroom spacious. The deck looking out at the beach was great.The staff was very friendly and always ready to assist. The coffee shop was cute and a great extra and the breakfast plentiful with lots of choices. The location can’t be beat, right across from a beautiful beach. Highly recommend!

Absolutely everything that was advertised at Mr Tucan met and far exceeded our expectations! Everything was clean, everything we needed that we expected was available to us, and the staff were always very helpful, friendly and professional. Thanks to Santiago & Dayna at Reception, and Wendy in Management throughout our stay. All the Bean Crazy Restaurant staff were amazing including Betsy, Jackson, Rhianna and many more. The included breakfast and everything else we ordered at the restaurant was delicious. The housekeeping staff were always friendly and accommodating for anything we needed and security was always professional and present on the property which made it feel very secure (however, we never felt like it was unsafe anywhere). Thank you!
