We liked it. Yes, the room is tiny, but it's very clean and has everything a traveler might need. Yes, Chungking isn't the most glamorous place, but it's safe and well-located. The MTR station, the bus stop, the ferry are nearby. The staff is really nice and friendly.

Like: Like, near to stores, aircon is very good. Safe. Unlike: There is some insect, bedbags, towel must be change every 2 days Over all: Good and i recommend Skycity Hostel for rent.

사장은 착하다 새벽 3시쯤 도착해서 전화 하니 잘 받아줬다. 건물이 오래 되다보니 더러운건 어쩔수 없다. 하수구에서 새끼 바퀴정도 올라온다. 침수류 및 시트가 살짝 오염물이 안 지워져있긴하다. 혼자 잔다면 좋다

Close to everything you need, to and from airport just a breeze, take A21 from there But be sure come to bus stop early.There are a lot of people, buy round trip tickets From airport is cheaper when using same bus on returning to airport.

Stay in this hotel if you: 1) On a budget but need well-maintained sleep-time room 2) Travelling alone (the size of all beds is one-and-half not double and it is not verycomfortable for two persons) 3) Need a cheap place but in a very center of Cowloon Don't stay in this hotel if you: 1) Prefer full-size rooms (the room in this hotel is cell-type - not enough space for everything - it is true for all Chungking mansion hotels and hostels) 2) Are really and strongly afraid of neiborhood unsafety. To my mind, it is very safe (cameras everywhere), but some people will find the atmosphere of Chungking Mansion as weird). 3) Don't like loud air-conditioners at night. You should be awware that very loud air-conditioner is the only option to get fresh air. There are no other windows in the room) All in all, the hotel is very-very basic but completely and newly refurbished and well maintained.

If you don't have to spend time at the hotel, besides sleeping, showering and pooping, it is OK, because you get what you paid for. A tiny room, when I say tiny, is like, if you have to change your mind, you have to walk outside the room.

처음에는 캐리어를 제대로 펴지 못할정도로 방이 좁아서 불편했는데, 직원분들이 정말 친절해서 좋았습니다. 사소한 일이라도 불러달라고 하시면서 전화번호도 주시고, 하나하나 어떻게 사용하는지 알려주셔서 감사했습니다. 벌레얘기 때문에 걱정이 많았는데 3일 동안 묵으면서 벌레는 보지 못했습니다. 청킹맨션이라 처음에는 입구가 상당히 무서웠는데, 길을 헤매고 있으니 주변분들께서 도와주시고, 단지 선입견일뿐 정말 열심히 사시고 친절하신 분들이었습니다. 저렴한 가격과 좋은 위치로 이동에도 편리했습니다.

Good hotel, but the rooms are - like the rest of Hong Kong hotels - very small. I lived in a 2 person room but I never would stay there with two persons. The staff was really friendly and help us good when we arrived in the middle of the night.

For those who understand about how much a squared meter costs in HK, then they'd appreciate how much convenient and comfortable Skycity hotel reflects in reality, even though room space is not as big as many people expect (meaning, no one should expect a spacious hotel room when coming to HK, not even for high-end hotels) As for our own experience, we were happy about the warm hospitality and the tidy condition. And most importantly, the location is very convenient. FYI, the Avenue of Stars is just a 5-min walk nearby. So, you are open to imagination of other conveniences. If anyone long for shopping experience in HK, they'd like staying at this hotel, for sure!
