Booked for a one-night stay through application. The price was good. The check-in process was quick and easy, and the place was quiet. The hotel has aged and needs some renovation. The bathtub has a shower head, but would be better served by a shower screen. The room was warm and easy to adjust.

I really liked the breakfast also. When it comes to their rooms, we had to change rooms when we arrived as the ac wasn't working, the temperature outside was the same day etc and the water was leaking from our bathroom. We were offered a bigger room which was much better but still there was a leak in the bathroom.

Because friends who had previously stayed there recommended staying at this hotel. The place is ideal, it is on a quiet street about 300 meters from a stop for the hop on hop off bus and the end of the street is the beginning of a restaurant strip. We were also there to participate in a european river cruise to Amsterdam, and the river was within easy walking distance. Due to the luggage I can't remember what the price was, we caught a taxi, but it was minimal. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast. I'm a vegetarian, so there was plenty of options. The hotel needs serious renovations. We were welcomed with badly stained carpeting upon entry. The room was adequate in size, but the bathroom was a disaster that waited. There was no shower curtain or screen, so the water just went directly onto the high gloss tiles. To soak up the water, we placed the spare towels and hand towels on the floor. The shower head kept sliding and swinging around, causing water to spill all over the floor. We didn't complain or ask to be moved to another room, as the cleaning staff would have been aware of the issues, particularly with the towels on the floor.
