Fantastic setting, fantastic structure, and excellent rooms with lots of space. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly, the breakfast had a great selection, and the service was excellent once more. The bar looked pleasant, but it was always empty on our weekend. The location is excellent because it is right next to a metro stop (M 2), within walking distance of the airport express bus stop in astoria, and the interesting cultural and nightlife of the 6th and 7th districts are within perfect walking distance. The building was built before 1900 and is lovely. However, all of the rooms are modern, wellequipped, and not old. The only drawback was our bathroom as we were given a disabled room. Its great that the hotel has very nice rooms with these amenities, but the bathroom gets flooded by design, making it difficult to stay dry. However, due to all of the aforementioned advantages, this was easily forgotten.

We had a very positive experience at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is very good and the rooms are very clean. The only thing that needs improvement is the smell at the entrance and also the price of the food and drinks. We would order more if the prices were acceptable.

I had a great weekend here. The rich history of the hotel, which has been operating since 1896, really impressed me. The elegant architecture with details and ornaments makes you think how part of the history of budapest and hungary was created here. The rooms are wellappointed and clean, with extra large tvs and bathtubs, as well as high ceilings. The staff at reception and breakfast were very professional, with a rich and healthy corner. The hotel is close to all major city attractions, a great choice!.

I suggest hotel nemzeti to anyone searching for a place to stay in budapest! Absolutely fantastic hotel. I regret that we only stayed one night on this property during our trip because, along with my wife, we had a great time. The staff is extremely welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We received a wealth of advice on where to go and what to see in the city. The hotel is very close to the stunning christmas market, which is a mustsee during the festive season.

The hotel is nice, the building is beautiful, and the staff is excellent. The room is small, but adequate for two people. Dogs are welcome! 20 eur per night. The only drawback was the noise, especially at night due to the busy street the hotel is located on. It is perfectly connected to public transportation (tram, metro, etc.

The best part of the experience was the excellent young staff. Daniel Torti was very helpful in resolving tricky situations such as calling the river cruise company to get new tickets as the audio commentary on the first failed. Thank you for the tips on learning hongarian!.

I stayed in this magnificent hotel for two nights in the heart of budapest. The central location is very comfortable, and the old building has a style and atmosphere that you cant get from a modern building.
