The location is excellent! It’s close walking distance to many tourist sites and museums in the city and close to the Maritime Museum bus stop. We loved the breakfast provided by the hotel and the Hygge coffee shop and bakery there. The spa was closed during our stay which wasn't great and we weren’t refunded the extra money we had paid for spa access. They did include one day of free hotel breakfast and a free coffee for the two of us though which was very kind. The staff were all very lovely and helpful. There was even a cat hanging around the front lobby area for most of our stay

Excellent hotel! Our stay was very nice, everything was absolutely great! We highly recommend getting a balcony as the view is lovely. It is also perfectly located to explore the west side of town and its beautiful waterfront! The only comment we have is that there was a lingering smell in the bathroom.

The breakfast was amazing! Large windows and you could see a peek through of a mountain:). We used the sauna—so relaxing!!! We had a room for 3 for 3 days and it was good size. The staff was excellent especially Ausra who was very attentive and accommodating!! Excellent hotel—-just beautiful and spacious ☺️☺️☺️

The room was very spacious and clean. We paid a little extra to get the balcony, spa and breakfast. The staff was amazing from checkin to checkout. Breakfast was bountiful and excellent. The spa had two hot tubs and a sauna plus a relaxing area with heated floors. We went two times during our stay since it was included. The view of Reykjavik was beautiful and since we visited in late April there was light in the sky very early and late at night. We will definitely be back.

What a wonderful oasis! This property far exceeded our expectations. It was well located for our exploration of Reykjavík. The staff was so helpful with all our questions. They were always patient and upbeat. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Had a great night’s sleep. We expected parking to be an issue, but found a place directly outside the hotel door, and the staff helped us access the parking app which made it very easy and reasonably priced. We can’t say enough positive about this stay at the end of our Iceland trip.

We had a relaxing stay. The spa includes two hot tubs, a sauna, and some lounge chairs and we visited twice during our stay. It gets busier at night when people are winding down but we had an activity during the day and came back and no one else was in the spa area mid-day. Breakfast choices were a full range of pastries, fruit, breads, eggs (variety) similar to a European hotel breakfast. They do have storage lockers right by reception if you are checking out early but want to store bags without carrying them through town.
