Location is 15 mins more away from the spot pinned on Google maps. It's gravel road so not feeling good for spending extra 30 mins every time travelling to-and-fro. Our shower floods a bit in the first night, and we call the host for help. Luckily, there is another empty room so we're allowed to take shower there. The shower is fixed on the morning of the next day (the time we're out sightseeing), and everything is fine on the second night. Another minor issue is the room is not sound proof so it's a bit annoying if your neighbours don't stop talking at night. They have TV in the room which is rare in the accommodation in Iceland. The share kitchen is tidy, spacious with sufficient utensils that makes cooking easy.

The place was very clean. The two kitchens were well stocked with cereals, plates, bowls, spoons and forks etc. As such there were no staff at he location. Just key in the door to check-in and leave the key in the door when check-out.

Le logement est pas à l endroit indiqué car c est celui de la réception. L hébergement est 10km plus loin sur une route non pavée. Arrivée la bas, le logement était super. La vue au top. J aurais aimé avoir plus d information sur la cuisine commune comme ça j aurai préparé en fonction et c était une très bonne surprise. Juste le goutte à goutte de la pluie sur le bois de la terrasse qui m a réveillé. Le reste était top

Stayed in one of the modern cabins facing towards the river. Geese were running around with their little ones, it was quiet and beautiful. We were looking for the remote experience and that's what we got. Be ready to drive on gravel road away from the main junction. Staff was helpful in pointing us to the actual lodging on the map. Two fully stocked shared kitchen was useful in our trip and we enjoyed our stay! Our actual door was broken and a shower curtain should be installed.

Beautiful property and accomodations. We had room 24. New, large room, clean and all the amenities we needed. There was a kitchen and eating area where we could warm up some dinnner. We stayed here on our way back from visiting the east side of Dettifoss falls which worked out great. We would highly recommend.

Llegamos a la recepción, que es donde índica la dirección desde la reserva y allí nos recibieron los dueños y nos llevaron hasta el alojamiento en sí, que está a unos 3-4km. El sitio está en medio del campo, alejado de todo. Tiene cocina-comedor muy amplio y dispone de un frigorífico grande. Dispone de café,cereales, azúcar sal y aceite totalmente gratis. Si que vi justo el menaje de la cocina , faltaban sartenes y alguna cazuela más. La habitación es una pasada, amplía, moderna y muy limpia. Cuenta con un baño pequeño pero ducha grande. Gran tv en la habitación en la que puedes ver Netflix y prime. Desde este alojamiento salimos para ver las auroras boreales y también las pudimos desde la habitación, una pasada. Lo recomiendo totalmente.

The place is clean. Inside looks newly built/renovated. The glass backdoor and patio was a nice touch, amazing surrounding views. Huge kitchen facility and great number or utensils and appliances for cooking. Beware, it is a shared kitchen. We had an encounter between a group of around 15 people who took over the area and used all the tables and chairs. They were very loud as well. It was an isolated incident though so hopefully won't happen to you. The drive to the lodgings was not pleasant due to the gravel road and the separate check in location was a hassle. Self check in would have been better. The secluded location was creepy at first but it is a perfect get away from city life to have a quiet and peaceful stay.

Wonderful area, loved our room with nice bath soaps and products. The common area was convenient as well, and the beds were supper comfy, out into had a porch with lovely views as well. Check in was a little confusing but it is a new facility so be aware of that and they are still building it and creating their process, will stay again!
