There is no restaurant for the evening but the breakfast is fine. We struggled to pay with our credit card as although the card payment was accepted 3 times, the hotel system did not recognise this so we ended up paying by debit card. We now have to dispute the 3 rejected payments that have been logged on our account.

This hotel is located at the far east of the peninsula. There are several walking trails out toward the water, and we saw many bird species and a few seals. We stayed here in April 2026 with beautiful weather. There was a busload of people who also stayed, but they had an early breakfast and didn't disrupt anything. The room was comfortable, though quite warm. Our checkin experience wasn't the best as it seemed it was someone filling in and wasn't sure what to do. The hotel has a bar with a happy hour, and the lounge overlooks the water and faces west for sunset. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

Very nice and clean and new property. Plus, it had a great location with all rooms and ocean view. Nice, quick walk to Paakhaus (the best seafood restaurant in Iceland). Sadly, I had to leave before breakfast, but it smelled great.

This is our second stay here and we absolutely loved it, it was our wedding night. We were greeted by a lovely welcoming smile and congratulations from all the staff on reception. They then offered us a congratulatory drink (not expected ) but very much appreciated and was a lovely little extra . Then we got to our room , our room was lovely and clean , had an amazing view and another little surprise of congratulations in the room in the form of a hand written note and some macaroons . We went down for another drink and the staff were lovely and friendly , welcoming and kept checking on us that we were okay . Overall another brilliant visit , would highly recommend staying here .
