Essa hospedagem foi simplesmente incrível. Hospedagem estratégica, próxima a Golden Circle, na qual fomos muito bem recebidos após um dia repleto de deslocamentos para os pontos turísticos dela, o que fez toda a diferença depois de um dia cansativo. O quarto é amplo, assim como o banheiro, ambos muito confortáveis. Um dos grandes destaques é o cuidado com os hóspedes: eles ligam avisando quando há auroras no céu — e tivemos a sorte de presenciar uma noite espetacular, repleta delas. Foi uma experiência inesquecível. O café da manhã também merece destaque: extremamente farto, variado e muito saboroso, perfeito para começar bem o dia.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. It feels like a very luxurious stay for a good price. The room was spacious and modern. Loved the heated floors. The hot tubs were a nice amenity and a great way to relax. My only complaints are that the room was too hot and there was not a way to control the temperature requiring us to leave the window open the whole time. Also the beds were entirely too soft and not comfortable but some may like this.

Amazing hotel. Rooms are gorgeous, equipped with everything you might need for your stay. There’s a hot tub just outside the rooms. Restaurant has great views and lots of delicious options for dinner. Breakfast is super complete. Staff was very attentive.

Good value for money, close to key attractions within the Golden Circle (around half an hour drive), nice staff, great breakfast. Stayed in the superior room - clean, spacious and comfortable overall. Good soundproofing too. There's also a cozy common area and outdoor hot tub at our building. There's EV charging (non-fast charging) available near the reception/ restaurant building, at a fee.

This was our favorite hotel during our time in Iceland. It was beautiful, with heated floors, comfortable spacious rooms and access to a hot tub while we watched the Northern Lights. The beds are sooo comfortable and cozy too. We will definitely come back here again when we visit the land of Fire and Ice!

We had the most wonderful stay at hotel Grimsborgir! The rooms were spotless and very roomy. The hot-tub was also a great addition and lovely to be able to use it in the evening after a busy day of exploring. The staff were extremely friendly and the food (both the included breakfast and paid dinner) was amazing with lots of options. The location was excellent in a nice quiet part of Selfoss. We were also lucky enough to see the northern lights from our room!!

We adored our time at hotel Grimsborgir! I’m a travel advisor from the US & will highly recommend this hotel to my clients. It’s beautiful. We had building 8 all to ourselves, which also meant the hot tub was very private for us. The building was in a great location away from a lot of lights. One thing to note, there are outside building lights that can prevent you from seeing the Aurora. We actually used the blanket on the bed to cover the lights outside & we were able to have an amazing Aurora show two nights in a row! I also want to know that the hotel did not call us to let us know that they were visible, we just so happened to track on the Aurora app & spent time in the hot tub waiting for them. A few guests at breakfast the next morning were pretty upset that they missed them as the hotel did not give them the call they requested. I would highly recommend tracking them yourselves and not relying on the hotel. The rooms are very spacious(deluxe) w/a decent sized refrigerator, a ton of closet space, VERY comfortable beds, great shower + bath products and hot water pressure! The rooms also have a cute little balcony. The community area also had a cooking area and refrigerator with lots of dishes available. There’s also an outside grill so you could totally make your own meals there to save money. The breakfast was outstanding!! Lots of options, But the same repetitive options each day. Totally worth it to stay here to explore the golden circle and south coast.
