Clean property. A very nice breakfast (continental) with an automated coffee machine. Close to town center and petrol stations. The upstairs gets warm but they provide a fan for circulation.

Für eine Übernachtung in Höfn ist die Milkfactory top. Das ganze Hotel ist super sauber, das Frühstück reichlich, die Zimmer sehr ruhig. Im Aufenthaltsraum bekommt man den ganzen Tag Tee und Kaffee for free. Zum Hafen läuft man ca. 25min.

Die Unterkunft liegt günstig am Ortseingang von Höfn. Parkplätze sind genügend vorhanden. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und gut. Es wurde immer wieder nachgelegt. Wir hatten ein kleineres Problem mit der Dusche, welches umgehend behoben wurde.

For the price, excellent place. The room was large, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was on par with breakfast I have had at more expensive hotels. Coffee machine is great a d they let you take away tea/coffee. We checked in very late and the key was available easily. Property felt safe, even though the room was accessible from the outside. Has own parking

This was a complete hotel package. It got it all and checked all the boxes. Rooms were clean, spacious and well insulated. Beds were comfortable and soft. Bathroom was nice and clean. The only thing I disliked was that the shower area don't have a door or enclosure or curtain without which using the shower leaves a massive puddle and poses a safety hazard. Breakfast was terrific. The staff were courteous and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay at the Milk factory thoroughly.

Rooms were clean and modern. Tea and coffee were available in the dining area at all times and our room had a mini fridge. Location was close to the main road and a few minutes drive from restaurants. I enjoyed the views from our room. Breakfast was a simple and convenient cold buffet e.g cold meat, boiled eggs, toast, jams, sweet baked treats, cereal, fruit & yoghurt. Very pleasant stay and would definitely stay again.

Såg inte mycket för världen ut på utsidan när man kom körande, men insidan överraskade. Trevligt ställe med mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Läget var helt okej, vi hade utsikt mot hagrn med islandshästar vilket för mig blev ett plus. Frukosten var enkel med ett väldigt gott bröd. Jag skulle absolut kunna tänka mig att återkomma😊.

Lofted room was great for us and the kids. Ameneties were nice and breakfast was simple, but great! They have lots of electric water heaters and seating for you to dine on your own with as well and are very sweet/generous with providing dishware for you to use. Everything was nice and clean and there was plenty of parking.

The view out Room 108 was spectacular. Mountains, a Glacier and horses. The room was spacious with lots of storage. There were a variety of choices for breakfast. Not your typical American buffet but very good.

The Milk Factory was such a fun surprise. Its rooms were bright and spacious for Icelandic standards. It was located close to sights in Hofn and easy to find right off the main road into town. The Milk Factory is a fantastic choice when staying in Hofn!

The name of the hotel was quite misleading. I had envisioned a cozy farmhouse setting with cows and milk buckets. Don’t get me wrong, I still appreciate the name! What impressed me most was the exceptional soundproofing of the room. From the outside, it seemed like a regular room, but inside, it was completely silent. Our room was conveniently located right in front of the cafeteria entrance. I woke up at 9 am and spent about 20 minutes getting ready before heading out. Initially, I assumed that the hotel didn’t provide breakfast or that we were the only non-empty room. However, my assumptions were completely wrong as soon as I opened the door. The dining room was not crowded, but there were still at least four or five groups of people enjoying their meals. There was even music playing from the check-in area, but we didn’t hear a single note inside our room. Looking out the window, we could see the horses grazing on the farm on the side. The breakfast food appeared plain, but I thoroughly enjoyed my slice of toast with Nutella. It struck me then that I was missing the flavors of non-Nordic cuisine.
