Lovely clean little room in a good location and at a good price. We opted for a room with a separate bathroom and used the shard kitchen a little for drinks. About a 20 min walk into town but it does not feel that long.

Alojamiento muy céntrico con cocina compartida que viene muy bien para desayunar o si quieres comer, hay habitaciones con baño privado y otras compartido, la del baño privado muy bien. Te mandan un mensaje con las instrucciones para entrar ya que no hay recepción.

I strongly suggest and will return. Beautiful little location to stay. The room was really nice and clean! The place is not manned, but it is a good thing. Everything was done via email via application. Every day the room was cleaned and there is a little kitchen for you to cook! The center is only a short walk away. Thank you for a pleasant stay!.

Rek Inn was in a very good location close to downtown Reykjavik. Despite being unstaffed, check-in and pre-arrival instructions were very clear. The room was clean and spacious with a modern bathroom. There was access to a communal kitchen and seating area which had all the necessary amenities to cook basic meals. On-street parking was always available close to the hotel and the area was quiet and safe. We had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend it.

We recently returned from three nights at the Red Inn. Very comfy double bed with fresh bedding each day. The bathroom is modern and beautiful. There is a shared kitchen, but the fact that we rarely saw anyone while there didn't matter. There are supermarkets on the doorstep. Free wifi is really good. Walk to the center takes 20 to 25 minutes, but it seems to take five minutes. Very clean, I cannot ask for more, will definitely come back to Reykjavik and stay here again.

I would never hesitate to come here. The bed is very comfortable. Very clean. Great position next door to a supermarket and about 1015 minutes walk to the main street of restaurants and bars shops. Free parking outside across the road and side street. The food was a great value. Payment was made before arrival with the card we reserved. Email and message with instructions on how to access and code. Perfect for a couple of nights. We had a double room with a private bathroom.

This lodging is located in the middle of Reykjavik's downtown. I had reserved a room with a separate bathroom so that it could be quarantined based on quarantine rules. The bed was comfy, and the room itself was tidy. The television stations that may be watched at the end of an upbeat day are also well worth their price. In the adjoining grocery, you can purchase a wide variety of modest things, possibly something you may prepare using the readily available kettle. In the shared kitchen, cutlery and crockery are also available. Only the bathroom, in my opinion, was the most deceiving, because the shower drain would have to be cleaned as this did not permit the water to seep properly, and after a short shower time, a small flooding occurred. The execution was excellent. The cost-per-performance ratio is unquestionably excellent here for a brief stay with a tidy place to sleep, especially if you have booked tours with pickup because you will be escorted directly in front of the hotel.

I would stay here again. We stayed here for two nights. booked on application. Reasonable cost, clean room, shared kitchen. No personal contact, but that's okay. Gave us directions to the rental, what to do when we got there. It's only a 1015 minute walk to the city center with lots of shopping and restaurants.

Hotel was great, had a small kitchen (no oven). Room was clean and shower was great. My only issue is that I didn't have much communication with the hotel staff. They sent me a message which I did not receive on the hotels.com website or my email so I was lucky to check in when the owner was there. They weren't clear with me about the checkout time.

This was a great place to stay value for moneywise, but if you're expecting it to be a hotel you will be disappointed! There are only 4 rooms, and it's a converted office with no staff onsite. The keypad access to the building was very quick and easy though, and there is bag storage if you need it (you just need to email them for instructions). It was clean, but basic. There is no housekeeping though, and nowhere to hang towels to dry, so after a 5 night stay it was beginning to smell a bit musty! For a couple of nights stay I think it would be fine, and really it's very good value for so central a position in Reykjavik. Any queries were also answered quickly.
