The property is good in terms of cleanliness of the rooms and infrastructure for a budget hotel but about an hour drive from Rameshwaram, the food is really excellent, but unfortunately the management did it for us. In the hopes of having a confirmed confirmation, the management denied us the room and we had to wait for the manager to clear up the problem which took a good amount of time after a long journey with my elderly mother and her young child accompanying us. They kept begging until we threatened to take action. I'm not sure if this is a ploy to steal more money during the peak tourist season. When we checked out, we had been charged much higher against the price mentioned on the menu for the food we ordered and while pointing out the same, we were again asked to wait for the manager to fix the problem. We finally decided to pay and leave after almost running out of time and patience. While he was checking out, I noticed another guest had a similar problem. The place is nice but not worth staying due to the attitude and distance from the main center. Serious advice for the hotel, if all your problems can be resolved by the manager, make sure he is available when needed.

I have an honest review of this place. The condition of the hotel is good, not good because of the cleanliness of the room and facilities, but a long drive from Rameshwaram. The food is actually very good but unfortunately the management just killed it for us. In a bid to have a confirmation, the management refused to give us rooms and we had to wait for the manager to resolve the issue, which took a considerable amount of time after a long travel. My aging mother and young child were with us. They kept dillydally until we threatened to take action.. I'm not sure, but it might be a ploy to take advantage of more money when it was peak tourist season. We were charged much more for the food we ordered while checking out, whereas they pointed out the same, we were asked to wait for the manager to resolve the issue. We eventually decided to just pay and leave because we were nearly exhausted in time and patience. During check-out, I noticed another guest had a similar problem. The location is wonderful, but it is not worth staying given the attitude and the distance from the major center. Serious advice to the hotel, if all your issues can be sorted by the manager, make sure he is available whenever you need him.
