Extremely enjoyable location, close to the beach and bay breeze. The entrance to the resort was challenging, but I forgot before entering the rooms because I was completely swept by nature illness. Excellent service provided by a skilled crew.

Lame cove resembles a guest house, a homestay hotel, or a beach resort, in the first place. The back of the building is directly across from a tiny cliff close to the beach. The beach adjacent to the location is not accessible because it is rocky and very steep. Other than that, our stay was wonderful and we liked it. The panorama of the beach from the balcony was amazing. With the help of the hotel, we borrowed a bike, and most places were within 15 to 20 minutes. Pros welcoming staff, clean rooms, and delicious food. Just pop over the road that leads to Auroville, 15 minutes by bike to the promenade, and the hotel will arrange for your bike too. No absolute drawbacks, but a few areas for improvement. The photographs give it the appearance of a decent beach resort. However, it is more like an elegantly constructed apartment. There was not much variety on the menu, despite a four-page item in the room. The menu was only available on Saturday evenings, mostly for south and north Indian dishes. Sandwiches on continental foods are not offered. There is no swimming pool and no children's area, so if you're traveling with children, there's not much to keep them entertained here. The location is good, the hotel is directly on the beach but it is difficult to access from the hotel as it is very steep and rocky. I recommend the ocean view room only, the food is good and the service from the staff is polite.

My heart aches to return to this place. I absolutely adore this location for a peaceful vacation. We had a wonderful time at this modest beachfront hotel. Service and room were excellent. There were only a few options for breakfast. There is a ton of room to be done about the hotel's location. It is on a tiny street in a slum neighborhood. Yet once you are inside the hotel, it is lovely. We will always remember the sunrise from our room.

The free breakfast was overpriced. But we arrived late at night in Pondicherry and the kitchen was closing. So, we chose this hotel for our stay during August Est week and we got the best deal. The property is newly built and well-kept, it offers beautiful rooms and interiors and is in a great location. Right on the shore.
