overall a great experience, in a great location. the rooms were very spacious but better bedding would have made the stay more comfortable. the staff were very freindly and helpful. the hotel was not too far from the dargah which made it a very convenient location, would reccomend this hotel to all travelling to Ajmer.

Good property. Conveniently located for visiting Dargah Sharif & Pushkar. Staff was very prompt in attending to requests and service was impeccable. Room size and amenities were good value for money. Overall good experience.

I regularly stay at this place for my business visits as the hotel is nice and quite even though its situated on one of the main roads. The small building has been built like a small palace very typical of Rajasthan. The surrounding is not quite impressive as the name sounds. The restaurant serves good food with live Indian classical music, which to my pleasant surprise was quite good. The bar seems to be less utilized but regular stocks are available. The lobby is clean and spacious and service at the reception + room is prompt.

I had paid for an extra bed, which was not available and required chasing after hotel staff. Staff was terrible - was overly interested in tips without doing anything!!! Nice hotel, has a small elevator too, but the folks who help with luggage etc and Roos are a bit clueless of the concept of service

After staying at an equivalent star hotel for a lesser room rate in Jodhpur, this hotel was somewhat a disappointment. Overall the hotel is acceptable, however it's internal decor [especially the rooms] really look like they need a serious upgrade sooner rather than later, including basics such as bathroom plumbing.

The property is really good with a decent view of the lake, but is being managed very poorly. The rooms were not that great with no temperature control for the AC. The food at the hotel is not at all worth eating. Hotel staff is good.

The hotel looks nice from the outside. The reception staff was welcoming and friendly. We were upgraded from a Deluxe room to a suite. The lobby area was not, however, anything to speak about. It looked old and dusty, with pieces of furniture that did not look very inviting. The suite was large, a low wall separated the sleeping area from the sitting area. Everything looked old and badly maintained. One of the sofa seats had a huge faded stain, perhaps coffee spilled on it some time in the past. The bathrooms had very old fittings, the tub did not have a clean appearance. There were a total of 3 towels, 2 for bath and 1 for hand-wash. All the towels looked old and dusty, they had lost their whiteness a long time ago. The restaurant had the same old look as the lobby area. The service was decent. The snacks we ordered from the menu were well prepared. However, the quality of the buffet breakfast the next morning left a lot to be desired. Some of the items were too unappetizing to be finished. All in all, the hotel did not measure up to our expectations.

We were especially looking forward to stay at this place. It was the only non budget hotel we booked on our five week tour accross Rajasthan. But what a disappointment. After an unfriendly reception, we entered our overheated room. Infact the air con did not work properly. The room was all but clean. Dust everywhere, a telephone, I did not dare to pick up and hold to my ear. The curtains were grey and were probaly never cleaned to this very day. On the mirror a mark from a dirty hand, on the TV table more dust. I made a line with my finger to check if it would be cleaned the next day. As almost expected nothing was cleaned. We took with us pillow cases, we thought we would have to use them in the cheap budget hotels, but we needed them the first time at Mansingh Palace. The WiFi Internet connection is a rip off. The hotel charges 600 INR for a 24 hour connection. My connection did not work, worse my computor hanged after the first attempt and I had to make a system restore, fortunately I was not an IT greenhorn. One positive point I have to mention. The restaurant is a well managed place with excellent dishes. Try the Maharaja or Maharani Thali.

Room is not maintained, dirty sanitary and toilet. Old linen. Old towel I paid online, staff argued I have not paid money and adamant to charge again. Room was opposite to room in construction. Was close to where Pvt party was going on and hence noise and could not sleep.

At the check-in time we did mention about our driver fooding and they ensured the driver food but later on refused to provide him any food. Very unfriendly and very unprofessional. And also very noisy as they arrange outside party.
