100% (hundred) advance payment is mandatory prior to check-in in order to secure and guarantee a confirmed booking at The Hosteller. Bookings will be considered confirmed only upon receipt of complete payment. The Hosteller reserves the right to deny check-in or release the booking in the event of non-payment or delayed payment.
All cancellations, if informed 7 days prior to the check-in date, shall be eligible for a 100% refund. In case cancellations happen within 7 days of the check-in date, there wouldn't be ANY refund and will attract 100% cancellation charges. In case of no show they will be charged the total price of the reservation.
All guests are mandatorily required to complete a pre-arrival, contactless check-in through the Glu App. The link for the Glu App is shared with guests via WhatsApp and email immediately upon confirmation of booking. Completion of this digital check-in process is a prerequisite for a smooth on-property check-in experience. At the time of arrival, every guest must present a valid, original, Government of India–approved photo identification document for verification purposes. Accepted forms of identification include: valid passport, Aadhar card, driving license, voter ID card.
Cafe timing: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM & 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM. Cafe timings may vary. Please refer to the Glu app for more details.
Check-in time: From 02:00 PM onwards. In case you are arriving earlier than the check-in time, you can hang out in the common area/cafe until the check-in time. However, in case you are arriving prior to 7:00 AM, it is highly recommended to book a dormitory bed or a private room for the previous night as well.
Check-out time: At 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability, at the discretion of the management and may attract additional charges.
Discount coupons will not be applicable if the guest requests an upgrade.
For foreign nationals, it is mandatory to present the original passport along with a valid Indian visa at the time of check-in, in compliance with applicable regulations. Pakistani nationals are additionally required to present a valid residential permit or specific permission letter issued by the Indian High Commission in Islamabad, along with their original passport and valid visa, at the time of check-in. Please note that PAN cards, student ID cards, office ID cards, photocopies, digital copies (unless legally permitted) or any other unapproved forms of identification will not be accepted.
Guests are solely responsible for the safety and security of their personal belongings and valuables at all times during their stay. The Hosteller shall not be liable for any loss, theft, damage or misplacement of personal items, whether occurring within guest rooms, dormitories, common areas, or any other part of the property. Guests are advised to use lockers (where provided), personal locks, and other reasonable precautions to safeguard their belongings.
If the guest wishes to extend their stay at any hostel, then availing a reservation will be subject to availability.
In order to keep our accommodation costs as affordable as possible for all guests, we have adopted a pay-as-you-go system for certain amenities, such as locks, bath kits, and towels. By offering these items on a chargeable basis, we can maintain lower base prices for our rooms, making our hostel accessible to budget-conscious travelers. We understand that different travelers have different preferences and requirements, so we aim to provide flexibility in our offerings.

Non resident visitors shall not be allowed beyond the common areas (most definitely not inside the guest rooms).
Parking is available but subject to availability (limited to ten car spaces).
Possession, consumption, or distribution of illegal drugs and narcotic substances is strictly prohibited across all properties. Alcohol consumption is permitted only in designated common areas and private rooms, while smoking is allowed only in designated smoking areas within the premises. Violation of any of the above policies may attract a penalty of ₹2,000 per incident, and repeated violations, misconduct, or non-compliance may result in immediate termination of stay without any refund.
Quiet hours: From 10:00 PM to 8 AM. Guests are requested to maintain silence in dormitories and common areas during quiet hours to ensure the comfort and rest of fellow guests.
Room charges are exclusive of taxes. Taxes not included, for a room below INR 7500 per night, there will be 5% taxes applied; for a room over INR 7500 per night, there will be an extra 18% taxes fee applied.

The hostel is pet friendly. However, pets are allowed in private rooms only. Pets are not permitted in dormitories under any circumstances. Pet owners shall be fully responsible for the behavior, safety, hygiene and supervision of their pets at all times during the stay. Any damage to property, furnishings, fixtures or equipment caused by a pet shall be assessed by management and the associated costs shall be recoverable from the pet owner. The Hosteller reserves the right to deny admission or require removal of any pet in the event of non-compliance with this policy or if the pet is deemed disruptive, unsafe, or unhygienic.
The Hosteller accepts the following modes of payment at its properties: Debit cards, credit cards including international cards and UPI (Unified Payments Interface). All payments are subject to system availability and applicable banking regulations. The Hosteller reserves the right to modify accepted payment modes at any time without prior notice.
The Hosteller Myngl cafe offers a curated selection of vegetarian ONLY food and beverage options for our guests. Outside food is strictly prohibited in this hostel. Additionally, in keeping with our backpacking ethos and community-driven hospitality model, all cafe services operate on a self-service basis. Guests are requested to collect their orders from the designated counter and clear their tables after use to help maintain a shared and respectful dining environment.
The property does not guarantee that multiple guests travelling together will be allocated beds in the same dormitory room or on the same floor. Allocation of rooms occurs in an automated manner, subject to availability at the time and are completely out of our control.
The property is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful and community-oriented environment for all guests and staff. Any form of misconduct, including but not limited to harassment, abuse, intimidation, discrimination, vandalism, theft, trespassing, non-payment of dues or behavior that disrupts the safety, dignity or comfort of other guests or staff, will not be tolerated. In the event of any such violation, The Hosteller reserves the right to take appropriate action at its sole discretion, including immediate termination of stay. Guests may be required to vacate the premises immediately, without refund for any unused portion of the booking. Additionally, the guests may be blacklisted and restricted from staying with The Hosteller hostels in the future.
The property is designed for adult (exclusively for guests aged 18 years and above) travelers and operates on a community-living model. Guests below the age of 18 years (“Minors”) including infants and children are strictly not permitted to stay at any of our properties. This restriction applies irrespective of whether the Minor is accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or any other adult.
The property reserves the right to deny check-in without refund in the event of failure to comply with the above identification and pre-check-in requirements. The Hosteller reserves the absolute right to refuse check-in, cancel bookings without refund and/or remove guests from the premises in the event of non-compliance with this policy or misrepresentation of age at the time of booking or check-in.
The room would be provided at the ongoing rates on the website and not as per the rates at which the previous booking was made.
Visitor hours (non-resident guests): 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Non-resident visitors are permitted only during the above hours and may be required to register at reception and present valid identification. Management reserves the right to restrict or deny visitor access at its discretion.
We provide lockers in the dormitories only. Every bed has an attached locker for guests to keep their valuables. It is advised that you carry a lock for the locker if needed. However, availing a padlock from the reception will be subject to availability and at an additional cost.
Energy-saving hours: To promote responsible energy usage, designated energy-saving hours are followed at this hostel. Air conditioning in dormitory rooms will be non-operational between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM, while air conditioning in common areas will be non-operational between 4:00 AM and 7:00 AM. However, during the dormitory energy-saving hours, common areas will remain air conditioned for guest comfort.

Swimming Pool Timing: 8.00 AM - 7.00 PM (The swimming pool may also be under maintenance on any given day).
