Alcohol is permitted only in designated common areas and inside private rooms. It is strictly prohibited inside dorm rooms.The Hosteller Myngl Cafe serves vegetarian options. To maintain the backpacking culture and community spirit we promote self service in all our cafes. Cafe timing: 8 AM - 2 PM & 6 PM - 11 PM. Cafe timings may vary. Please refer to the Glu app for more details.Smoking is strictly permitted only in the dedicated smoking zones within the premises.In case anyone is traveling in a group of 2+ more people, we do not guarantee the accommodation arrangement for all the guests in the same dorm room. Allocation of rooms happens in an automated manner subject to availability at the time, varied floor arrangements, etc. Right to admission is reserved.Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and at the discretion of the management and may attract additional charges.In case the guest wants to meet the visitor, they can do so in our waiting area or common spaces. Note, visitors are not allowed inside any of the rooms, at any time. Visitor timings: : 9 AM to 9 PM. 100% prepayment is mandatory at our hostels on or prior to check-in to ensure guaranteed booking.Only female guests are permitted to check into the female dorm. If a male guest books this room type, check-in will be denied as per policy. No refund will be issued if the booking falls outside the cancellation policy period.
Possession, consumption, or distribution of illegal drugs and narcotic substances is strictly prohibited across all properties. Alcohol consumption is permitted only in designated common areas and private rooms, while smoking is allowed only in designated smoking areas within the premises. Violation of any of the above policies may attract a penalty of ₹2,000 per incident, and repeated violations, misconduct, or non-compliance may result in immediate termination of stay without any refund.
Specific policies may apply to different hostels under the brand at specific times of the year and the same shall be communicated at the time of check-in.The Hosteller shall not be held responsible for guest’s loss of personal belongings and it shall be the responsibility of the guests to keep their valuables safe and secure.We do not have any contact numbers (hostel level). In case you are arriving earlier than the check-in time, you can hang out in the common area/cafe until the check-in time. However, in case you are arriving as early as 7 AM, it is highly recommended to book a dormitory bed or a private room for the previous night as well.Guests with local IDs are allowed.Parking is not available within the property premises however, guests may park on the roadside approximately 50 meters from the property.Silent hours: 10 PM - 8 AMSwimming Pool Timing: 8 AM - 7 PM (The swimming pool may also be under maintenance on any given day).
The Hosteller is a chain of backpacker hostels and is well suited for young backpacking travellers. In line with our brand positioning and community-living model, we do not recommend families and do not permit guests below the age of 18 years. Admission of minors, including infants and children under 18 years of age, is not allowed even when accompanied by legal guardians.The Hosteller also believes and promotes lean hospitality, essentially meaning that we are believers of self-service, no porter/valet/etc, and are a no frills hospitality company. This is ingrained in our operating model in order to provide excellent services to our guests while keeping the accommodation costs as affordable as possible. We have also adopted a pay-as-you-go model for certain amenities such as locks, toiletries and towels on a chargeable, pay-as-you-use basis, which is communicated transparently to guests.Consumption of drugs is strictly prohibited at our hostels. In case anyone is found indulging in such activities, anywhere inside the hostel premises, we shall be liable to take strict actions ultimately leading to asking you to vacate the premises immediately and permanently blacklisted. The guest shall also be deemed unfit to continue any further at any of our hostels in case of non-adherence of general policies, misbehavior (physical/mental/verbal or in any kind) with other guests or hostel management, theft, vandalism, trespassing, non-payment/delay in payment of dues, other guest inconveniences or any such unwarranted actions. In all such cases, the guest shall be asked to vacate the premises immediately without any refunds. The Hosteller Goa, Mandrem is pet friendly. We permit pets only for private room guests and not dorm bookers. Pets are strictly not allowed in the dorms. Any damages, in case, incurred during the stay shall be attributable to the pet owners.Outside food is strictly prohibited inside the hostel.
To promote responsible energy usage, designated energy-saving hours are followed at properties where air conditioning is provided as an amenity. Air conditioning in dormitory rooms will be non-operational between 11:00 AM and 02:00 PM, while air conditioning in common areas will be non-operational between 04:00 AM and 07:00 AM. During the dormitory energy-saving hours, air-conditioned common areas will remain available for guest comfort.
Please note that any changes in tax structure due to government policies will result in revised taxes, which will be applicable to all reservations and will be charged additionally during check out.
