Zostel Plus Nainital, 1 km Jungle Hike

Alcohol consumption is permitted at the premises as per the property’s discretion and local laws. Outside alcohol consumption is not allowed in dorm rooms and common areas. However, it can be consumed in private rooms.
All travelers are strongly advised to arrive at the property during daylight hours, as it is difficult to reach the property after dark. Following are the daylight timings for your reference:
7 AM to 6.30 PM - 7 PM (Winter season)
7 AM to 7:30 PM - 8 PM (Summer season)
Children below 18 years of age are not permitted entry/stay at any of our hostels, with or without guardians. We do not recommend families.
Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability, and may incur additional charges at the property's discretion.
Guests are not permitted to bring outsiders inside the hostel campus.
Guests are requested to check in after 9:30 am and check out before 10 am for the complimentary porter service. Porter service only available until 6 PM.
In the event of an unpaid reservation, kindly contact the property within 24 hours of creating your booking to complete a 100% pre-payment. Failure to do so will result in an irreversible cancellation of your booking from our end.
Please contact the on-ground team or the property an hour before your arrival to request a porter (complimentary) to help you with the luggage.

> From UKTC bus stand Nainital (Tallital- 6 km): ~INR 500 for a taxi to Zostel Plus Nainital (Naina Range)’s parking lot. Alternatively you can take a shared taxi for ~INR 200.
> From Kathgodam Railway Station (42 km; 2 hrs): ~INR 1000-1500 for a taxi to Zostel Plus Nainital (Naina Range)’s parking lot.
> From New Delhi Airport: (300 km; 7 hrs): ~INR 5000 for a taxi to Zostel Plus Nainital (Naina Range)’s parking lot.
The property does not allow a group of more than 8 people. In case of a group of 3 or more, you might be purposefully allotted different dorm rooms. Further, if the group behavior is deemed unfit at the property, the Zostel Property Management, upon subjective evaluation, retains the full right to take required action which may also result in an on-spot cancellation without refunds.
The property is a 5km drive from the Mall Road to Tankey Band, Kilbury Road, and then a 1 km hike. Backpack is recommended instead of trolly bags.
The property reserves the rights to reject or accept any admissions, based on objective evaluations.
The property solely runs on genset and solar panels, hence room heaters and TVs are unavailable. However, we provide bed warmers (complimentary) in each room.
We only accept a government ID as valid identification proof. No local IDs shall be accepted at the time of check-in.
To reach the hostel, you have to hike for 1 km (20-30 min) through a scenic jungle route. So we recommend that you carry a backpack instead of trolly bags. Please contact the on-ground team an hour before your arrival to request a porter (complimentary) to help you with the luggage. Porter service only available until 6 PM.
