MATHIS Lodge is home to 20 individual lodges spread across 2 hectares of tropical grounds, each with refined decorative styles that celebrate the Eastern Indonesian ethnic aesthetics of Papua, Sumba, or Sumbawa. At the bottom of a valley facing the beach, our hotel reception will organize your climb to the lodge with our buggy - a 3 km off-road journey that lasts around 15 minutes.
As the scenery transitions, you will be carried away into another world: the lodge sits on the foothills of Léan valley, surrounded by green hills, near the Seraya volcano, with the village of Amed and the turquoise waters of the Lombok Strait in the background. For a soothing moment by the sea, our pick-up shuttle will drop you there free of charge and on demand during the day.
