A VERY unique and comfortable one night stay before we headed onto the 3 day orangutan jungle cruise. This place was personally built like a robinson caruso-like habitat. Room was clean, comfortable, a.c., quiet (aside from local mosque prayer broadcast), and the clientele were interesting world travelers. Great home made Meals were available as well upon request. Neighborhood had nothing to offer tourists, but we were VERY content to enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the establishment. Small dipping pool and reading area were peaceful and enjoyable. Owners were not there, but the staff was friendly and helpful. HIGHLY recommended as a staging hang for nearby orangutan park boat trip.

If you want to have a true Kalimantan atmosphere in Palangkaraya, I suggest you choose this accommodation. Its not in the center of Palangkaraya city, but you will feel like you are in a real jungle. The owners are very friendly and you feel at home once you enter this guest house.
