We initially were drawn to the price and the generally positive reviews. However, after talking to dannu a little bit, we decided to stay for a second night and let him arrange the next day for the three of us. For those on a tight budget, the room rate is quite reasonable. He is certainly paid a commission for the tours he organizes, but there is genuine service behind him. For example, when we left everything in the car for snorkeling, we were taken to a coffee plantation, a small but fascinating waterfall with lovely flowers and plants, then to a department store where i bought shoes for the ijen tour. He even took us to a fruit shop where we sampled some of the rare fruits, and to a department store where i bought shoes for the ijen tour. He is very grateful to him because he immediately gains our trust and sympathy. We also provided him with many suggestions for how to improve his homestay, and he is overjoyed to hear all of our feedback! Im confident that he will continue to improve in the future. He clearly intends to assist visitors as much as possible, but he still lacks experience, and he only provides essentials to keep costs low. I hope my review can be useful to other travelers (i personally benefit greatly from previous reviews to make decisions).

We spent one night there with our family on a trip to mount ijen. The owner was incredibly accommodating and kind. The rooms are spacious and pleasant. After the tour, we even had a delicious breakfast.

Alhamdulillah, pemilik homestay Mas Danu tahu apa yang diinginkan tamu. Tidak perlu TV di kamar, tapi wifi sangat cepat. Ada TV besar di ruang tamu. AC dingin. Kamar mandi, meski di luar, bersih dan nyaman, ada air panas dan dingin, dapat sarapan. Tidak ada yang sehebat ini di Malang, Jember. Harganya mahal. Pelayanannya 6 Maklumin kan murah 120.000 Dapat sarapan, air panas dan dingin, kamar AC. Kurang apa coba. Saya dari Kota Malang. Terima kasih kepada Danu homestay.

We highly recommend staying here and taking advantage of the tours. Dannu made it so easy for us by organizing 2 fantastic tours of ijen and bromo. 350 k inc entrance fee, all transportation, homestay, breakfast and atv tour. We could relax knowing everything was taken care of. Breakfast was great, the room was big and comfortable and we could use the kitchen whenever we needed it.

Danu is very hospitable, friendly, and helpful. He and his team organize the best tours for mount ijen and mount bromo. The room was comfortable, clean, and we had a hot shower. After returning from mount ijen, danu welcomed us back with an amazing breakfast.

I would definitely recommend him! Dannu is an excellent host. He is incredibly kind. He takes care of everything. His guest house is cozy. It is well situated and has everything. He offered us a threeday tour of yogyakarta, mount ijen, and mount bromo. He handled everything flawlessly, leaving us feeling alone.

We accidentally discovered this tiny homestay and also booked a trip to ijen with dannu. I can only say that the experience was wonderful. Dannu is a very friendly and wellconnected host. He will provide anything you need, from local trips to a taxi waiting for you at the harbor in banyuwangi or bal. Of course the homestay is not a 4 star hotel but its well worth the money and this is comming from a very picky german. Be friendly to dannu and he will be friendly to you and he will also provide fair prices for tours and transportation. Just a great time and i wish him the best.

I was anticipating a respectable stay at the homestay of dannu based on the reviews on application. Unfortunately, this fell short of my expectations. The showers were filthy, and the rooms were of poor quality, likely because they hadnt been cleaned in a few weeks! The hospitality of dannu was abrupt, unable to provide any assistance or solutions for our inquiries. Having said that, our trip to mount ijen with the homestay of dannu was wonderful, most likely because it was managed by a different agency, and our guide was thrilled about our group. Breakfast afterward was enjoyable because we were starving after the climb. Overall, if you need a quick place to stay, i would suggest it, but there are other options that might be better!.
