Hotel ini terletak di lokasi yang sangat strategis di tengah kota, dan memiliki kamar yang cukup luas. Hanya saja, hotel ini terlihat sudah cukup tua. Penerangan di dalam kamar juga terkesan redup, tidak terang. Terlepas dari itu semua, semuanya baik-baik saja dan cukup nyaman untuk tidur di sini.

Hotel Grand Central Manado sangat tidak direkomendasikan untuk pertemuan. Lokasinya berada di pusat kota manado namun tidak direkomendasikan untuk pertemuan. Hari ini, 29 Agustus 2019, kami menghadiri pertemuan, saat coffee break, ternyata kue yang disiapkan tidak cukup. Kami mengkonfirmasi hal ini ke pihak hotel, namun kami mendapatkan jawaban bahwa jika seseorang tidak termasuk dalam kategori orang yang sombong, siapa yang cepat mendapatkannya. Terima kasih kepada Hotel Grand Central Manado atas ketidakprofesionalan Anda.

Saya menginap di hotel ini karena ada tugas kantor. Lokasinya dekat dengan penjual makanan. Wifinya lumayan kencang speednya. Sayangnya penerangan di lorong kamar kurang terang. Pada malam hari agak terganggu dengan suara bising dari angkot yang menyalakan musik dengan volume kencang.

Lokasi hotel ini tidak terlalu jauh dari pusat kota, namun tidak terlalu dekat dengan pusat perbelanjaan di pinggir pantai Manado. Dekat dengan nasi kuning selamat pagi kuliner tempoe doloe dan penjual panada, kue khas manado yang isinya tuna.

Saya ke Manado 6 tahun lalu, harga bersahabat dan lokasinya strategis. Kamar nyaman dan bisa bersantai dengan sangat menjadi pilihan kami yang lelah setelah perjalanan jauh. Mungkin kamar mandinya perlu diperhatikan, shower sedikit bersalah, fasilitas air panas yang kurang panas dan tutup bathtub yang entah kemana agak mengganggu ritual mandi.
