In terms of location, on the outskirts of the city, but still close to the everyday pleasures. If you're searching for a spot to unwind and recover, look no further than the Mangrove Guesthouse. Its exactly what the doctor ordered for us, in the countryside, far from the usual urban distractions but still close to the little, minor pleasures of life. An exceptional breakfast buffet on the porch with views of the beautiful landscape, endless fields, blue skies, and mountains on the horizon. A very attentive service staff, who was able to take care of you during long breakfasts that lasted until lunchtime. There's always a friendly smile on your face. It represents the exact opposite of the typical hotel offering. In fact, it looks more like you're being invited to somebody's home as one of their crucial guests. It doesn't get better for us, who recently celebrated the fifth anniversary of our very appreciated relationship with the mangrove guesthouse. Thank you, Tina Johnny.

Antoinette and janice were great in every way when we visited Mangrove over the weekend. We arranged cheese platters for the bar, which were set up with their wide range of wine options. They were platinum. We got their Pinot Blanc. Janice is a wine enthusiast and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful time. Beautiful views, wonderful wines, and kind hosts. In the summer, I'll definitely stay here for a few days.

This estate is located on the Stellenbosch side of somerset west. The hostess antoinette was a lovely and warm welcome and helped us reserve a wonderful restaurant near the hotel. After months of lockdown and a recent knee surgery, we required a romantic getaway and this was great. The lounge had a lovely fireplace and the bar with their wonderful wines.

At wednesday afternoons and stellenbosch street gatherings, we first tasted Mangroves fantastic wines and were very impressed. Last week, one of my sons and I had the chance to go to the farm for a tasting and we are more impressed than ever. We ordered some Mangrove wines during lockdown, and although Janice offered to deliver, we collected and took the opportunity to go and taste their wines. We were blown away by the lovely setting and the extremely friendly reception. We tasted 5 of their wines, and with Jannicos extensive knowledge of the farm and winemaking processes, ones appreciation for their excellent wines only increases. However, this time we couldnt take Antoinette up on the offer of some platters along with the tasting, we had planned to do so on a subsequent mangrove tour. And one almost regrets staying in stellenbosch and not having a legitimate reason to stay at the beautiful, glistening manor house.

For all business conferences, I can recommend Mangrove. The property also lends itself well to a perfect weekend or long getaway because it is close to all the wine fields, wine farms, restaurants, mountain walks, cycling routes, and beautiful mountain scenery. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and tranquility, which were perfect for new business ideas. A delicious lunch and great hospitality completed a successful day!
