This place comes highly recommended by me. When I walked into this place, I inquired about their walkin rate. They were the cheapest out of three hotels I had entered off the street. Their rooms are large and clean, and I have no complaints. I loved their breakfast, especially the fruit. They also served the best curry in Tamben. Ask for Thai green curry. I had two other curry at more reputable restaurants, and one in particular was terrible. I ordered vegetable Thai green curry, and they provided me with additional chilli as I requested. Ill post a separate review of their meal. The staff and such lovely young people who are always joking around are a joyous people!.

I highly recommend this place for couples and solo travelers who prefer a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The price is also worth it. The location is just 1 minute by foot from the Matahari dive centre so it is really easy to go diving and snorkeling. Two nice staff staff. I was very happy to stay here for 10 days. Tax guys

It became obvious that we had gotten lucky by picking this location. Despite the fact that it was low season when we visited, it was nice that only two of the seven remaining rooms were occupied. Nevertheless, all of the rooms are off the road, bringing you comfort. The pool is also gorgeous. Places that advertise being on the water are real, but you and your room are not. Most of these buildings are narrow and long with little rooms. The rooms here were quite big. The original Matahari, which has its restaurant and dive shop on the water, is directly across the street. You can come to Matahari two and have breakfast because breakfast is included in the price. This is a good place to stay because of the view of the volcano and the pool.

Price is good. It's a sister to Matahari dive resort. But the fan at full speed is very slow, making the room hot during the day. Both matahari resort's menu is the same, but the taste is different. The food at the older Matahari resort is better.

In tulamben, I met so many new and old friends. I went diving with matahari for a week. The rooms are huge and have a view of Mount Aging. The atmosphere is tranquil and relaxing. The service staff is very nice and accommodating, as well as the owner. The instructors Doi and Maria also give excellent training and experience. Our dive guide, Dharma, was also very proficient and assisted us to spot many animals for macro photography.
