A rustic, lovely, and completely unique experience of jogja. Staying at omah guyub 2, with its handcrafted wood and traditional structure, is like going back in time. The bungalow is located in the village of bantul, which is home to many of the citys artists and music makers. I stayed alone and with my family and each time had a great experience. Andy, the owner, is a musician and craftsman who built the house himself and knows the area and its creative world very well. He and is very generous in giving his time and support to visitors who want to connect with artists, musicians, dancers and experience everyday life. Omah guyub is a gem unlike any other place you will stay in java.
