This is a great place to stop for a coffee tour. The people here are very friendly and gave us a wonderful tour and experience of growing, picking, roasting and tasting coffee beans. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in java coffee.

Pengalaman yang luar biasa. Su Peno adalah salah satu orang paling ramah di Pulau Jawa. Mereka bisa belajar sesuatu dari keramahannya di Belanda! Perjalanan ke air terjun dan melewati sawah juga sangat direkomendasikan. Su penuh dengan cerita lucu dan bahkan berbicara dalam bahasa Belanda. Sebagai pelengkap kue, kita juga diperbolehkan memanggang biji kopi sendiri dan mengolahnya menjadi secangkir cola yang nikmat. Secara keseluruhan, ini adalah pengalaman yang tidak boleh dilewatkan.

We were made to feel very welcome from the start by peno and his very kind family. They made an effort to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Peno greeted us and greeted us with food when we arrived from malang very late. Breakfast was delicious and included vegetarian options, including penos coffee. We also had the option to purchase delectable lunch or dinner. The homestay is situated in a lovely garden by the river. However, the mosque could be heard early in the morning. We were able to rent a scooter and take a beautiful paid trekking tour through rice fields and coffee plantations. The bungalow where we stayed was new, so it still lacked wifi, hot water, and air conditioning. Other bungalows had hot water and wifi. Always ask for the price of anything offered to you. We ended up having items on the final bill that we thought would be free and also something that cost more than what was initially stated.

Kami menghabiskan 2 malam di Penos dan akan selalu mengingatnya. Kami telah mengaguminya! Lokasi kamar dekat sungai, makanan lezat dan keramahan Peno dan keluarganya menjadikannya tempat yang luar biasa. Berjalan-jalan di sawah dan pertukaran bahasa juga sangat memperkaya!

Peno homestay is a truly wonderful place. Supeno and his family are incredibly welcoming and will ensure that you have the best possible experience! We went on a coffee tour with Supeno, first they drove us to the nearby village and the stunning waterfalls on their motorcycles. There were no other tourists present at all. We then strolled around and he showed us the stunning rice fields (flipflops are recommended because you are walking through the fields). He then showed us the coffee making process and we roasted and grind our own coffee beans, from which they produced the most amazing (strong coffee. They also sell their homegrown coffee at a very affordable price. He also showed us their available rooms, which looked very nice and tidy! In the middle of their lovely coffee garden. There is currently a room for 4 people, two rooms, but in the future, they will extend it to 6 people, three rooms. Finally, when we were going home, there were no grab drivers, so they offered to drive us all the way back to the center of banjuwangi! These people are so kind and deserve the world. Terima kasih banyak to supeno and his family!.
