We stayed in their onebedroom villa with an extra bed at the attic and a spacious living room. The view is amazing, you can watch the sunrise from the balcony or the attic as it has no curtain windows. And because it is located in the middle of a secluded village in baturiti, you can also watch the farmers doing their activities around the place. The kitchen is ready to use and comes with the necessary cooking utensils. So if you plan to stay longer, it is advisable to prepare some ingredients for your stomach.

It's the ideal place to get a taste of rural Bali. Situated on the edge of a small town, shangrilah has a great location for exploring local life and culture. It is quiet and peaceful with beautiful views, cool air, forest, mountains, and rice fields. You can watch the locals go about their daily work and get away from the hustle and bustle of tourist and city life. There are a few local stores outside the gate for simple supplies, but we advise you to bring some necessities or drinks because this is a self catering facility. There are numerous restaurants close by that require transportation. It is ideal to have transportation so you can explore the many tourist sites in this area at your leisure. The villas can easily go to waterfalls, rice fields, lakes, botanical gardens, treetops adventure park, or hot springs. The villas are clean and comfortable, with a renovated pool and pool lounge area for relaxing or doing yoga or meditation. We had a wonderful time at shangrilah, and we will be back.

Watch youtube by searching for bali bikepacking day 2019. I arrived late and no one was there, so i set up my tent in a sheltered place right next to the pool. The staff came later and gave me a nice big villa to stay in.
