The rooms are nice with a great view. The hosts are very kind and helpful. If you pass through gorontalo, make sure to stay a few nights here. We also participated in a fun and delicious cooking class. Highly recommended!.

A very sweet place to stay. Peaceful, except for 4 am and the mosques, but i believe they are everywhere in gorontalo, comfortable beds, nice rooms, and mimin and her family are really kind, helpful, and friendly. You can easily call a grab if you need to go to town, port, whale shark, and it is cheap and quick. And the sunset is beautiful, with beautiful music from the mosque in the background.

We arrived late at night after a long car ride, but were greeted with great kindness and even offered us a late dinner. Harry and Mimin truly live up to their motto live like a local. Sunset cottage is a beautiful small family village with an amazing view over rice fields. The activities they offer are truly unique, we swam with whale sharks and hiked through the jungle, but also got to experience local culture while handing out food to people in need during ramadan. It was definitely not just a brief stopover before heading to the togian islands, and we even returned on our way back to manado to stay a little longer. We cant wait to return to gorontalo to visit our new family on the other side of the planet!.

The best place to stay in gorontalo! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are good and the scenery is amazing. They also have a gym. Rent a bicycle or scooter.

I just spent one night here before leaving. Mimin is a wonderful person, she organized transportation from marisa, my flight because unauna had no wifi, and at short notice, she also arranged for our whale shark excursion. She arranged for us to have a takeaway supper after whale sharks because the cottage is a bit out of town and much closer to the airport. Nothing was too much trouble for her, she is a beautiful woman.

Saya menginap di tempat Mimin dan Harry di Gorontalo. Saya hanya berbicara dengan Mimin (bukan Harry) tetapi dia sangat ramah dan baik hati. Selain itu, dia membantu anak-anak setempat untuk mendapatkan pengalaman kerja di tempat tersebut dan mengajar bahasa Inggris. Orang-orang hebat, tempat yang indah, dekat dengan bandara tetapi jauh dari Gorontalo. Pemandangan yang luar biasa dan sangat terjangkau. Pasti akan menginap lagi. Mereka juga terhubung dengan baik dan dapat mengatur transportasi ke mana pun Anda ingin pergi. Terima kasih!

Our ferry to the togean islands was delayed by 2 days due to bad weather so we ended up staying 4 days at mimin. Simple accommodation, beautiful views, and very friendly and helpful staff. Mimin, Harry, runs a homestay in gorontalo and their children are a wonderful family. They will do everything to help you. Mimin is a great cook and also does cooking classes. Harry arranged for us to stay in a cabin on the ferry. They both speak very good english. Cant recommend them enough.

I would strongly recommend staying there, and i hope i can come back soon. This is a serene and cozy place to truly experience the kindness and hospitality of the locals, situated just outside of gorontalo, next to the dreamy and birdfilled lake limeboto. The cottages are in a small village overlooking rice fields and coconut palms, with smiling neighbors and adorable children. Harry and Mimin, the owners, speak excellent english and will attend to all your questions and requests with complete attention and a smile. They take time for their guests, connect with one another, and take them on excursions. I had the opportunity to taste the dishes cooked in a gorontalo cuisine cooking class they organized for a french family, and everything was absolutely delicious! I hope to return soon. Wish you the best and hope you have the best in sharing a slice of gorontalo with the outside world!.
