Definitely one of the best homestays ive been to during my 3 month trip in south east asia. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the breakfast is amazing and the hosts were very helpful and friendly. It is located on the top of a hill away from noise disturbance. Very relaxing compared to the center of kuta. They also offer motorbike rental at very good prices! Great value for money!.

Living in the bungalow, which is built with organic materials, is such a pleasure. Breakfast is served on the terrace with beautiful views of the forest. I will definitely be back! I would absolutely recommend staying here if youre looking for a simple and comfortable stay with friendly staff and a bit of peace. Like most people, i look at the negative reviews first when choosing a place to stay and i have to say that the low ratings here seem to be given by people who didnt take the time to research what they were actually booking. If you are expecting a 5 star hotel type stay in a developing country, dont bother. For context, my friend and i stayed here for just over a month because the price was good and the location was suitable. The rooms are as expected but really very comfortable and clean with fresh linen every 5-6 days which was perfect. You can easily get to all the surrounding beaches by bike and it takes about 5/10 minutes to get to kuta. The drive up is through a small community of buildings so the road isnt great and is constantly built but its fun and scenic and the views and peace at the top are definitely worth it. I have to say the owner was very genuine and very helpful in making us a really good breakfast every day!

We stayed at this homestay twice already, and if we return to kuta, we will definitely stay at village corner homestay again! This is the best homestay we had in kuta, and we were in around 5-6 different ones! Sahrun and his family are truly kind and helpful. All of our requests were met right away. Just to name a few a few ahrun woke up extra early one day to prepare breakfast, we were able to leave our luggage during a trip we made, they were able to get us a helmet for a child, etc. All with a genuine smile. The rooms are spacious and clean, and during our stay, sahrun changed our bed sheets without our request. You find yourself in a calm environment, away from the noise, and surrounded by very friendly people from the village. Breakfast is beyond the best we have had in our 6 month trip i.E. You get an omelet, pancake, fruit, coffee, tea, and more! Its true, the road is a bit bumpy at two points up the hill, but other than that, the road is quite good, so it is very manageable. Even though he had just started driving a scooter in kuta, my dad was able to drive the road. At the homestay, you can rent a scooter for a reasonable price. And yes, it is a bit further from the main town, but if you plan to visit the beaches and places around, you need a scooter.
