The Woodenbridge is an iconic inn located in the hills of Avoca, outside of Arklow. It is the oldest hotel in Ireland, and is a popular spot to stay, or spend the afternoon. The rooms are comfortable with modern conveniences. They have a hearty breakfast buffet, and the bar was a great place to get an afternoon drink to enjoy on their sunny patio. Their staff are very friendly and helpful.

Amazing stay! Our room had a wonderful view and a glass door that opened to the balcony. All amenities were on the property with a gorgeous golf course next door. Staff were so kind and accommodating. Parking was very good! The bar had a great selection and a fun place to hang out and have a drink. The dinner menu options were amazing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ireland!

Quick and easy check-in. Staff were very attentive and helpful. We were given an upgraded room along with a beautiful fruit and chocolate brownie plater because it was a birthday get away - so very much appreciated 😊 Room was beautiful, spacious, clean with a beautiful view of the golf course and Vale of Avoca. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice and had a wide window of timings, so if you fancied a longer lay in, it wasnt a problem. We had dinner in the Bistro restaurant both nights and couldn't fault it. There was entertainment both evenings. Will definately visit again

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were very cosy and clean. We had the best dinner in a long time in the restaurant and the breakfast buffet was well stocked as well. The only frustration is one of our rooms had a smart TV, but by the other didn't, so that was a frustration with 3 kids. Otherwise no complaints!
