It's hard to beat the Porta Toss in Milan. The rooms are spacious, quiet, and spotless. Although the decoration is pretty lovely, the quality of the bed and sleep is also excellent. Nice linens and fantastic pillows, every bit is comfortable. Service is always excellent, thank you Stefano for sending me my forgotten items. Try the risotto at the Trattoria del Nuevo Marco, for some of the best italian risotto, both types.

We enjoyed staying out of the center of italy and stayed here because it was such a beautiful place to stay. The hotel is close to tram lines 27 and 73, which will direct you straight into the centre of the city. We found this lovely establishment after gridsearching google maps because we had a 7 a.m. departure from ligate and needed lodging near the airport. The best spot we've found during our recent trip to northern Italy is Be Porta Toss. During our flight, we arrived at ligate early and needed a place to stay, largely due to the ease and beauty of these rooms. From the initial contact, stephano was helpful and efficient with communication. There are only four rooms in this renovated house, and each room is filled with amenities and is a masterpiece in it's design. It features contemporary bathrooms that have lots of hot water, upscale amenities, original tile, and graphic wallpaper. It includes a mini-bar of tea and coffee, and delicious drinks such as barely, barbaresco, and other treats. We ate the nicest pies I've ever had in Italy, and a comfortable bed with the softest linens I've ever had. A perfect bed and breakfast was provided by Stefano. The rooms were spotless, and the amenities were first-rate. Breakfast was excellent. The position was excellent, and stopping points were conveniently located just a few minutes away. The nearby train station also made our trip to Bergamo extremely simple. Our first journey to Italy was really fantastic, and Porta Toss made it even more special. Thanks to Stefano for preparing us a packed breakfast since we had to leave very early for our flight.

I highly suggest it. Despite being in front, the ground-floor front room had no street noise. Sadly, the worst part of staying in this room was that I could frequently hear the front door closing. This room's bed was fantastic! The mattresses were very comfy, the sheets were very soft, and the pillows were the perfect size. Additionally, the room had blackout shutters, which were fantastic for ensuring a restful night's sleep. The room was really roomy, and the restroom, which had a sizable shower, was very spacious during the stay here. The hotel was in a fantastic location, being only a short walk from tram and bus stops and the train station. Stefano, the owner, was a friendly and helpful hostess.

The most gorgeous lodging we have ever remained in on our fourth three overseas vacations. The helpful, friendly, and thoughtful owner The lovely linens, toiletries, and exquisite furnishings have all been planned with great care. Every little detail was thoughtfully executed. Breakfast was delicious, spotlessly clean, and composed of the finest wholesome ingredients. These kind breakfast rooms are lovely and inviting. I would like to return for a longer visit. The environment was peaceful, but the public transportation was accessible in just a minute by bicycle, taxi, or plane. I wish there was a better hotel like this one. They set the bar so high. Well done.
