We stayed at da cecil for three nights. Contrary to what rick steve said, the room was very modern, looked recently renovated, and was very comfortable. The floors were heated, the nice bathroom had a nice shower and heated towel racks, and our room had a cute little balcony with a lovely view of the sea and surrounding countryside. Christina and guitar were very helpful and friendly, and we also enjoyed dinner one night at the restaurant. The only disadvantage was no breakfast, but for the price, I couldn't complain. One advice don't even think of driving to Cornelia! Scariest thing I have ever experienced. I heartily endorse this place.

Heaven on earth 1010 service, food, and lodging My partner and I had arrived in Cirque Terre late at night and were starving. We couldn't see anything open and it was raining, so we were about to sleep in our car because we couldn't check in to our house in Riomaggiore. We ran up the stairs to the yellow restaurant de celot because they were the only place to look open with the lights on. It was 10.30 p. M. When we entered the room we saw the place empty with only the staff packing up. I inquired if the kitchen was open even though I knew it was probably closed. They told us that they were closed but could offer us spaghetti pesto. We were very relieved and thankful that they fed us even though they had been closed some time ago. They offered us amazing food and even asked us if we wanted dessert. We were talking to the incredible family and sharing about our travels and experiences back home in Australia. We were led to our room and walked in to a gorgeous stylish modern room. The shower had good pressure and the bed was very comfortable. We woke up early to check out and check in to our original room in Riomaggiore. I opened the window to our room to see the most wonderful view of cornelia. Thank goodness the cecil restaurant and the accommodation were the key to our pleasant stay in Cornelia. We also had most of our meals there because they were very tasty and always fresh. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend it if you come close. We will definitely return!.

When I was touring Cirque Terre, I stayed here for two nights. The tiny room had no view, but it had recently been renovated. My room had strong wifi. The only drawback was that the room did not have air conditioning, and I couldn't leave the window open during the night because the church bell rang every hour. I discovered a fan hidden behind the curtain as I was checking out. Their restaurant is highly recommended. The cuisine and service are excellent.
