We were so pleasantly surprised by this property. They welcomed us with a cold drink and seated us in the pretty patio while they got our rooms ready (earlier than expected). The pool was lovely and the rooms were cute, very clean, and had shutters on the outside. It was a 10 minute walk into the heart of town. Breakfast was very good. So much better than the photos led us to expect!

Very good place to spend your holiday season. Very friendly staff and other people. The pool is the best place to relax. The room was clean and the atmosphere was comfortable. The personnel are very personable and very competent. If you are looking for a lie teller this is your place to go.

Stylish hotel, close to the centre of liar. The room has a strange decor, but it is comfortable, and the service of the staff is good and friendly. They have great breakfast and a great experience when staying here.

I recently spent three nights here on a saga holiday. The gardens and pool area are attractive, and the location is only a few minutes from the city center. I can't say anything positive about this hotel enough. The rooms are dull, dark, and musty, smelling musty. Not cute, but tatty. The bathroom wasn't functional. Hair dryers scarcely work, shower heads falling off, etc. The eating area did not improve. Apart from the pasta, the food is very boring and uninspiring with relatively few portions. After eating a three-course meal, I have never felt hungry. After having a three-course meal, I've never been hungry. But there was a lot of dry, tasteless cake at breakfast, with no hot food, broken toaster, etc. Sadly, some of the waiters' arrogant attitude ruined the entire experience. I left feeling extremely disappointed and would never suggest this hotel to others.

I highly recommend a stay at the Gatopoldo Park Hotel for the price. We just got back from a 5-night stay at the Gatopoldo Park Hotel. The hotel staff was very helpful. I contacted the hotel before arrival to request a ferry transfer. When the ferry was at a volcano I was advised to call. After arriving in liar without any issues, we were picked up. The hotel surroundings are beautiful. The pool area was beautiful and much needed with the heat! There is a small bar area next to the pool for drinks, snacks, and ice cream. Our room was spacious, clean, and functional although a bit outdated. We had a room with a tiny terrace away from the pool area. Mosquite protection beware! Breakfast was continental and more than adequate. Dinner is available in the hotel, but we chose to walk into town which is about a 5-10 minute walk down the hill. On departure, the hotel provided transport to the ferry terminal and printed some tickets we needed for buses on our way back to Santiago. We had a great time in Liar and found it the ideal base for exploring the Tholian islands.

A great hotel that is close to the city center yet still quiet and peaceful. They have a shuttle service to the harbour. You get clean towels and a clean room every day. They have a really big swimming pool with enough sunbeds for everyone. Breakfast is big, there are sweets and 3 different eggs and bread, and everything you could imagine, heaven on earth!

Hotel spartano, molto pulito e confortevole, Non è proprio centrale ma le dimensioni dell'isola lo rendono comunque abbastanza vicino a tutte le attrazioni delle Isole. Unica pecca il servizio di ristorazione assolutamente insufficiente.

E' la terza volta che sono ospite del Gattopardo. L'ultina volta nel 2003. Posizionato in uno stupendo giardino dotato di una bella piscina, personale gentile , prezzo alla portata, necessità però di un corposo ammodernamento da farsi nelle camere. I mobili , il bagno la tv, sono rimasti quelli di vent'anni fa'

When we arrived at the hotel, we were very impressed by the decor and facilities we saw: the interior is lovely, the pool is big and not crowded, the staff were friendly....and then we entered the bedroom and what a disappointment!! It was on the ground floor so very dark with little natural light coming through, the bathroom was no where near the expectations of a 4 star hotel, dark and dingy with a barred prison window at the top! As it was on the ground floor, quite a few insects managed to crawl under the door - my worst nightmare! I guess if you're not planning on spending much time in your bedroom (as we quickly decided not to after seeing the room) it should be ok. I assume the rooms on the higher floors are probably also better. On the positive side, it's close to the center, a good and varied breakfast and they organise a free transfer to the port.
