I have been in 2 prestigious rooms, which were very nice, but the employees, especially the director known as the "El Sergeant," make the place very nice, like his attitude. Stunning view from outside with a park nearby the hotel, plus the restaurant was really good, nice and large typical mountain meal this place deserves a visit.

Good location for access to the ski lift system. Large rooms with excellent cleanliness. Breakfast was excellent and had lots of options. There are dark rooms mainly because the lights didnt work even after it was reported. The many sockets were damaged. The wellness centrepool that draws you in from the brochure images is charged an astonishing 8 euros per person per hour! 10 if you dont wear a swim cap. Dinner was not fantastic, but if youre not there at the beginning of the meal, good luck to get salad or dessert. The main meal was not very good. Often cold with grey meat of any description. Desserts appeared delicious but just tasted of sugar and were occasionally frozen. We thought wed spend a little extra and go for something a little more beautiful because skiing was not available last year, but we were very disappointed.

The location is one of the closest properties to the col rosella cable car and has access to a variety of good red runs. The hotel has a wonderful traditional building, mature decor and furniture and is kept immaculately clean by the proud employees. Bordering on a bit funky compared to more modern hotels, but see points below about service. Service attentive team with good English led by friendly manager. Some great personal touches were delivered to us during our stay, the downside was offset by the dedication of the manager and his team to ensure that we had a good trip. The check-in was a bit chaotic, room allocation was changed on the fly, and the front desk team kept passports unnoticed by the manager and his team to ensure a good trip. Rooms large and clean with functional furniture and traditional bathrooms, good strong shower and apparently endless hot water, decent strong heating, no kids could sleep on the first floor till this stopped. Breakfast is continental, and there is lots of good quality options. On the last morning the hotel cellar didn't have a specific bottle, but the manager set up a runner to grab a bottle for a parting treat. Good touch. At the end of ski day, the ski and boot room was well accessible from the road. It was secure during our stay. Lots of boot dryers for everyone to dry the kit overnight. Ski racks with holes

I'd never hesitate to return to the hotel rubin if I ever went there during the summer. The room we stayed in at Hotel Rubin on a ski holiday was the biggest of all, and I assume this is because it is also popular with hillwalkers and other outdoor events. And it's not just a ski business. Every morning's walk from the hotel to the main cable car stop took roughly 510 minutes. Sadly, each day there was a flurry of lines, and it took at least an hour from the hotel until we were on the paste. The table staff, the woman behind the reception, and the bartender at the main bar deserve special recognition because nothing was too much difficulty and they were eager to please. Each day, it was a pleasant 510-minute stroll from the hotel to the main cable car stop. Each day, the lines were incredibly long, and it took at least an hour for the hotel to get us to the paste.

We had a week's skiing trip booked through Crystal Ski. Great value for money, shame spa and pool are not included. The room was very clean, big thank you to the maid who cleaned us up every day. The food was fine, but it needs improvement. But if you want to eat out, like we did on a few nights, you don't have to go far to find some great traditional Italian restaurants. Great location to the gondola, literally minutes walk to the gondola or ski bus, a bus pass is an extra 9! The only negative aspect of our vacation was the extremely rude receptionist. I wish I could remember his name, he was pretty ignorant upon check in. And then when it came to check out, which was so say am, we were continually being asked to leave the room and close the bill. Apart from the receptionist, the rest of the staff were excellent.
