A little bit noise due to the restaurant downstairs. Service is good & very helpful.

This is the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at. Many of the interesting landmarks are just a short stroll from the hotel. realtor bridge is less than a 5-minute walk away. There are many restaurants in this area. In fact, the hotel has a list of recommended bakeries and eateries. realtor Bridge is the boat station that takes you to St. Lucia Venetian train station and the Marco Polo airport. The location of this place is close to realtor bridge.

You have to judge hotels on value for money. Hotel San Salvador is a quirky hotel down a narrow Venetian street, up a narrow staircase and has odd shaped rooms with small en-suites decorated in very Venetian style. We've never seen towels made out of tea towel material before, but they do the job. What you get here is a comfortable bed, a decent shower, a nice small balcony from which you can watch a boat or two drift past and, most of all,a really friendly, warm welcome with lots of advice on how to best enjoy this incredible city. You also get an almost unmatchable location, literally 2 minutes walk from Rialto Bridge. There is a huge number of cafes, restaurants and bars on the doorstep and within a few minutes walk. You can walk to Piazza San Marco in 5 minutes or so. All of this comes at a price that you won't find anywhere else outside of the peripheral, secondary areas of the city. Why look elsewhere? Fantastic value and very nice owners.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Ambra and Roberto’s place. We stayed there for two nights and would definitely come back here the next time we are in Venice. We didn’t know the hotel was family run, so we were extremely pleasantly surprised when Ambra welcomed us. She is the most loving, enthusiastic, witty and talkative host you will find. She made us feel welcome from the start, offering extra towels and pillows to make sure we feel at home. She was also very helpful when looking for recommendations in Venice, food or attraction wise. You can ask here for anything and she is more than happy to assist.

Abra, the front desk employee, is the best part of this hotel. It felt like visiting the longest family because she was so kind and welcoming. She is always cheerful and provides helpful advice on places to visit or eat. I had to board a flight at six in the morning and she gave me specific instructions on how to navigate the night vaporetto at 4 in the morning and made sure I was safe to be out at that time for someone traveling alone. This was a fantastic aid. I actually decided on the dates that I could schedule my European trip based on the available dates! This hotel is not particularly lavish. The rooms are spotless, the shower is functional, and the outdoor balcony is a plus. Another wonderful feature of this hotel is that it is so close to the realtor bridge that you will easily find when driving around Venice because you will get lost over there.

Rooms had excellent shower facilities and the air conditioning was a relief! Due to the location being so central (close to Rialto) we were able to quickly pop back to freshen up before heading out in the evening. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and have good tips! The rooms are on the smaller side, but this was not a problem..they were cleaned and freshened everyday, beds made, towels changed and bins emptied. Would 100% return here if we chose to visit Venice again. Thank you for our lovely stay.

We loved our stay. The room was charming. Ambra was so nice. She gave us great suggestions on places to see and food to try. We had a flickering light in the bathroom, and as soon as we told Ambra about it, she changed the bulb. Ambra needs a raise!!! The hotel is very close to the Rialto Bridge. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.
