For a week cycling, we had a great experience here. The staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home. On some days, we had breakfast, lunch, and dinner there, and the catering was always excellent. The food was always freshly cooked with a particular emphasis on local ingredients and cuisine. Stunning location above the volcano.

Our two rooms were plain and unappealing, with no view. However, the pool was good enough, and the surrounding yard was great for lounging and admiring the view. The hotel's terrace is in a prime location and offers valley views. Be aware that we were cycling and had a one-am climb to the hotel, and my wifey wasn't speaking to me from the top! But the breakfast was excellent, by far the finest on our reservation, with muesli jog hurt fruit salad, karma-style ham, croissants, etc. served by the friendly staff. Because of the accommodation, I didn't believe they were worth 120 euros per room. Sadly, this was probably the least value of all the hotels we have stayed in, but I felt I paid for the view but I paid in sweat pedaling up, and the breakfast has not and won't be better. The hotel was very busy and popular with German tourists.

Great value with fresh food and friendly staff. Excellent location overlooking the messier mountain museum and use as a base for exploring the region especially as a base for day trips into the fabulous sodomites.

In June 2016, we stayed here, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The hotel and the surrounding area are beautiful and have a fairytale ambiance that South Girl is best known for. There are numerous mountains with breathtaking views, biking trails, and wineries close by. The hotel personnel was helpful and urged us on activities to explore and places to enjoy delicious meals and ice cream. They even looked into which restaurants provide glutenfree foods for us! We will definitely be back there in the future.
