The hotel room is enclosed in an very old 800 year old building above the shops in the old town. The owner beautifully preserved it still showing the ancient 800 year old beams. We had a flat that looked out over the outdoor square. It was very clean and well-maintained. Great location for walking the city center.

In May 2014, we spent four nights in La Piazzetta della Piggie, a lovely accommodation with a modern bathroom and Ikea-style furnishings in a sizable multipurpose building in the heart of bologna, right between the train station and the piazza Maggio. At the center of bologna, its accessible on foot. Breakfast in a corner-themed arcade is included. Given that universitytown Bologna can be loud on weekends, the room was very peaceful. Two things to keep in mind: the hotel manager isn't on-site full-time, and there is not easy access to the building, so you may need to call him when you come to be let in. And the WiFi promised for the room may not reach all rooms, even we weren't able to use it!.

I have a very good experience when staying here! The facilities and room were very good, especially the location is also good, you can easily reach everything easily, and the service is also quite low. Payment is done on the spot. It's understandable but before accepting payment requests, so it's hard to make an understanding. We must show the friendly manners.

We just stayed here for one night, because we used Bologna as a departure point from Italy to Germany. From the train station, it was simple to find and easy to walk to La Piazzetta della Piggie. Its location was also excellent for discovering many nearby attractions, especially since we were only spending one afternoon. The room in which we stayed was really individual. It had a raised bed with stairs to enter, and a loft style room outside the bed for relaxing. The room was relatively small, but tidy, and comfortable. It was also very quiet, which allowed for a great night's sleep. In town, there are a ton of shops and eateries. With coupons from a nearby coffee shop, you can earn a coffeecappuccinoespresso and a pastry for breakfast. However, the breakfast failed because the room and location meet my exceptions.

I travel alone for business and when I need to pay for my own nights while I'm in Bologna I stay at this perfect location. It's clean, has great wifi and you get a breakfast voucher at the corner bar that I love.
