Lovely hotel in the heart of this lovely town. It was a little hard to find but staff in a nearby cafe pointed out the entrance. The room was spotlessly clean and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the cafe downstairs was a nice coffee, fresh orange juice and croissant or toastie, which was fine for us.

An excellent stay in Treviso! This room exceeded my expectations! It was clean well appointed with a very clean and accessible, shower and bathroom. I love the woodwork and the ability to look out over the square. I had a challenging time trying to find it, but the staff bent over backwards to meet me and help me find a place where I can park and stay. This place is walking distance to the old city, and I enjoyed some great walks, seeing the canals of Treviso and an excellent pizza dinner. For any future travelers, I would greatly recommend this place. As you come into the older city, you will pass a older wooden bridge over the river. Immediately there is a small cobblestone street that I would suggest you turn right and go down that street and then park at the back initially. The apartment then is around the corner in the small square. You can buzz for them to come down and let you in and get a parking pass for a parking lot just across the river on the other side of a very short distance distance away. Nevertheless, the staff was absolutely tremendous and incredibly helpful and I thank them profusely for going that extra mile for me. Thank you again for an incredible stay.

Clean, comfortable, pleasant staff, very well maintained and serviced. Breakfast served in ground floor cafe, and again, very pleasant and welcoming staff. Treviso is a delightful town, and an excellent base for exploring the region. Highly recommended.

This is a true gem. We chose it because we wanted to spend time in Venice without staying in Venice. Treviso was a natural and Palazzo Bortolan came highly recommended and lived up to expectations. Staying in an old Italian mansion was an experience. Great staff, beautiful room, terrific location on the Sile River, close to the train into Venice , and without the throngs of tourists

This is a characterful property set overlooking lovely views of the river Sile and apart from occasional traffic noise is very peaceful. We found the staff very welcoming. Although registration is not until after 15.00 we were able to leave our bags in Reception when we arrived earlier so we could explore the town and find somewhere for lunch. The entrance is by a buzzer on a door at the side of the building just beyond the cafè and once you are buzzed inside the accommodation is on the third floor. Our room was in the front left corner with lovely views over the river and was very spacious. Everything was clean and tidy and a kettle and selection of teas is provided. There is a slope on the floor which was not a problem but watch the little step into the bathroom at night! The twin beds were very comfortable and quilts are provided for added warmth which we found very useful. Altogether a charming place to stay the night and highly recommended.

The facility operates within a beautiful palace overlooking the canal in this charming small city only 30 minutes to Venice Marco Polo airport. The room and bed are spacious. The bathroom and shower are quite good. Secure offsite parking facility. The town is a jewel, …medieval historic center with lively streets and good restaurants.

Quando arrivi all'Antico Palazzo Bortolan, ti senti subito accolto, il personale è gentile e disponibile, tutti sono attenti ad ogni tua esigenza, premurosi e disponibili a dare preziosi consigli per agevolare la visita alla città. Apprezzatissimo il Caffè letterario al piano terreno dell’edificio e la possibilità di avere a disposizione un parcheggio riservato per l’auto, molto vicino e di facile accessibilità. Il Palazzo si trova in una posizione incantevole, affacciandosi su una delle piazze storiche più belle di Treviso, con vista sul fiume e sul ponte di legno! La camera è pulitissima, silenziosa, dotata di ogni comfort, spaziosa e con un salottino con tv e servizio the e bevande. Nelle immediate vicinanze del Palazzo si trovano tutte le più importanti attrazioni di Treviso, monumenti, Piazza dei Signori, Musei, negozi, un paio di golosissime pasticcerie e qualche localino caratteristico per cenare. Tutto ha contribuito a farmi apprezzare sempre più questa città ed avrò un ricordo indelebile di questo Palazzo Antico e della Scala “Albero della conoscenza”, progettata dall’architetto Paolo Portoghesi che ha curato l’incredibile restauro di tutto il “Quartiere latino”, il complesso dell’ex ospedale civile di San Leonardo, che è stato riconvertito in polo universitario, quartiere residenziale e commerciale, dove spero di tornare a soggiornare ancora !
