The hotel's condition was cold, and the location was unwelcoming when we arrived. The photo on the back of the boat shows how good each place was. The square is a good place to go to have plenty of food. But, it doesn't last very long. Although the building is a little shabby from the outside, you will quickly realize that this is true for the majority of venetian houses. While the location was more secluded, the place was ideal, quiet, close to a few excellent bars and eateries, close to the train station, and close to the ferry that takes you directly to the airport. The hotel is in need of some tac, however, the management was recently altered when we arrived, which I believe they were aware. However, the room and bathroom were clean and the bed was cozy. Breakfast was adequate. We didn't realize that the hotel was in the Jewish district when we made the reservation, so food was kosher don't expect pork related foods uncommon for Italy. There was plenty to eat, including delicious cereal, yogurt, and bread pastry. But the manager could not do enough for you. It gave the hotel a homey feel not everyone likes, but we adored the hotel's relaxed nature. Second, the hotel is next to one of Venices best kept secrets, a canal side road. The location of Fabio is good, and the person there is very pleasant to talk to, especially when he made us a real person. The place is a pleasant and laid-back street with a wealth of pubs and eateries if you just get to the bridge behind the water fountain. We arrived here last night, and the price is 2 euros for bras and cicchetti at Bar Da Aldo. We had a nice breakfast, with old wooden beams and a big bed in our room. Breakfast is also very good. Aside from that, the nearest vaporetto stop is only 5 minutes away, and the train station is only 10 minutes away. Fabio organized breakfast from the neighborhood bakery because we had to leave early. My love to Fabio.

We visited in August and were given a room and breakfast at an excellent cost. It was straightforward to find upon arrival, close to a water bus stop, in a pleasant square with a few trees and benches and a nice place to sit and relax. The host was excellent, we had good communication throughout our stay, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Breakfast was tasty. We enjoy a more delicious breakfast than a greasy English fry-up, so it was ideal with croissants, yogurts, rolls, spreads, and a large bowl of different fruits, hot drinks, and fresh juice. Because it was so filling, we didn't need to eat until the very late afternoon. The rooms are what I expected in Venice, as all Italian hotels are old, but I liked how this enhanced the whole experience. They were clean, which is most important, and we had excellent wifi in our room without any issues at all. The area and hotel are lovely, and I felt 100 secure with my daughter there. We liked that the neighborhood had more locals nearby. The hotel applies all the community's rules, so we weren't at all at risk from the virus. This is how Venice felt across the board.

This was a pleasant stay. We, 2 adults, and a 5 year old, stayed here for one night. The room was very spacious. Everything was very clean. We were afraid of bugs because it was nice and the buildings were old, but saw only a few very small things. Fabio, the site's caretaker, was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was satisfactory, but we were annoyed not to have any fruit we had seen the previous day. Apparently it was due to the storm. Anyway, the Jewish ghetto is a very nice place to stay. Located away from crowds and very quiet at night. Locals had a good energy. At the same time, it was very close to the train station, which was a big plus for us. There are several good cafes and restaurants in the vicinity as well.

This is the place to stay if you want to feel like you are in old Venice. Quaint, comfortable atmosphere, clean room with a canal view, and bathroom in room. The food in Venice is very close to the historical courtyard. The host, Fabio, has helped us with many of the essentials for getting around the city which is so easy to get lost in. Every day, a continental breakfast was offered.
