About Palazzo Arone dei Baroni di Valentino
This former nobleman's residence, brimming with history and a treasure chest of beautiful artworks, was built in 1555 by Don Gilberto Bologni, the Marquis of Marineo, a prominent figure in Sicilian politics at the time. It later became the luxurious home of the Princes of Castelnuovo, who commissioned exquisite frescoes and stucco work by renowned eighteenth-century artists, including the Flemish painter Borremans. The Palace offers hospitality in its nine rooms and suites. Located in the heart of Palermo's historic center, a short walk from the Quattro Canti and the Cathedral, Valentino Palace is the perfect starting point for discovering this extraordinary city. Experiences include a house tour, cooking classes, dinners, and exclusive events in the great hall.
