The room was clean and comfortable but on the street side of the building so quite noisy. The area around the be was run down and very depressing with lots of homeless people on the main route to the railway station. Breakfast part of the be title is misleading as a voucher is given for a small coffee and pastry at the local cafe.

The location, even though on the map it looks close to the station, is the biggest thing to be aware of when booking these rooms, a very unsafe location and you must walk behind the station to get there, in an area. Avoid arriving after dark if you reserve here. The room itself is nice and spacious with air conditioning. There is a communal kitchen available. The bathroom is spacious and clean. Every day, the room is cleaned but bring your toiletries because the ones available are extremely limited and not regularly changed. If you want to have breakfast, you get a voucher that can be used in two nearby cafes and will give you a coffee and a croissant, so dont expect too much. Overall, the room is lovely, but the region doesn't blend in.

During my visit to Rome, I stayed in retro rooms for 3 nights with my family. I was delighted by the excellent service I received for a very reasonable price. It is well furnished with a large bedroom, a very large bathroom, and a big communal kitchen. Many thanks.
