Please, use good common sense as if it was your own apartment (90% of rules).
Rates are shown for two people, and a per-person daily fee applies to guests above 2 (as shown in the agoda system when you input the correct number of people that will stay over).
I must collect copies (photos) of your IDs in order to pass them on to the Police within 24 hours of your arrival: this is mandated by Italian law.
If you send me your ID photos in advance we can have a smoother check-in procedure. Otherwise, no problem, I'll take photos of your ID when you are in Rome.
Please, do not touch the thermostat that you find in the corridor. This is NOT for room temperature. It regulates only the water temperature, and it is well set. I never touch it, either, and it works fine.
In the living room, there's a manual containing instructions about where to go, what to see, where to dine, where to buy your food and your wine, where to buy clothes, where to bring your kids to the park.
Information regarding other amenities, emergency numbers, and pharmacy numbers is also included.
Smoking in the house is forbidden--maybe I'm a fastidious former 1-pack-a-day smoker? Maybe. Still, smoking is not allowed, my friends.
Parties are not allowed either. We all know what's a party, right? If you have any doubt, please call me up.
The building doesn't allow loud music or TV after 11:00 pm.
A full set of bed linen and towels (3 per person) is being provided free of charge. Please, let me know whether you need more towels or linen: this will be charged by the company servicing the apartment (prices are reasonable).
Please, remember to close all windows before leaving the apartment for your daily visit to beautiful Roma. Just so that we don't forget: please turn off lights and appliances as well (e.g., oven and stove) when leaving your apartment for whatever reason.
Please, tell me whether you have an extra guest staying over at the Residenza.
There are three reasons why you should do this:
1. I must communicate to the Police the IDs of guests staying at my place. It's the law.
2. I must pay the city tax for all guests above the age of 10: €3,50 per day, per guest.
3. If you have friends joining you during your trip and you end up being more than two people, there is an extra fee to be paid: €30 per day, per person above the first two guests.
