This is the perfect lodging for your stay in Ischia. It's a short drive from the Ischia marina, where the ferry drops you off, but the public bus (less than 3€ a ride) is right outside of the hotel to get you back to the Ischia Marina where there are countless bars and restaurants, as well as the main shopping on the island, or to Fario where you unlock another world of the island. So convenient! The hotel staff themselves are so accommodating, as well. The staff during our stay didn't speak anything other than Italian but we communicated over WhatsApp or Google Translate easily. I had a 6:30AM hike one morning and the staff not only made sure I had a car ready to drive me to the meet up location but they left out a cold breakfast and hot coffee in a thermos for me. So thoughtful and above and beyond what I expected. I hope to return not only to Ischia but to Villa Marinella!

It was an absolutely gorgeous property. Pristine and very upscale. It seemed a little isolated from restaurants, etc. But we were right next to a spa with beautiful pools at the ocean.. would definitely go back.

Loved the pick up from the ferry, breakfast was fabulous and the reception staff was top notch. Staying in the heat of July, I would have preferred a hotel with a pool - the hotel gives 20% off coupons to the resort next door, which looks nice, but it is still about $30/day/person. Also the buses on ischia are great and a stop is right outside, but on a weekend night they were very very packed. Staying in town might have been a better decision. Its just a 20 minute walk, but in the heat it was uncomfortable.

Staff so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was in their very cozy dining area overlooking the sea. Our room had a small private patio too. Very clean. Bus stop was very close, but the downtown area of Ischia Porto was about a 1/2 hour walk if you prefer. It was a wonderful experience

Firstly, the staff was outstanding. Just the kindest, most welcoming people. The villa is like a little hidden paradise. There was this incredible breakfast spread every morning, and the room had a private little terrace that was so pretty. The villa is a short little stroll from a ton of restaurants and shops, and there is a bus stop right outside so it's super easy to get around the whole island. We had an amazing stay and can't wait to return.

The view from the terraces was spectacular and sweeping. Hotel has a limited number of rooms so gives personalized concierge services such as pick up and drop off to local ferry ports. Villa Marinella has a very quiet and tranquil atmosphere, being one of the most beautiful places we have stayed at in many years. Limited staff were very helpful.

What a wonderful place! Everything was lovely, from the pickup from the port to the room, which was big and clean. The breakfast was wonderful: fresh fruits every day and homemade cakes. The staff working there give you information about what to do/see in the area and do their best to make your stay there as wonderful as possible. They even ironed my dress the first evening when I was there, which I really appreciate. I recommend staying at Villa Marinella, they have more focus on service and it feels more intimate and cozier than other 4-star hotels we have stayed at in Sorrento, before deciding to go to Ischia. The only thing we regretted was not staying there more days, but we will definitely book Villa Marinella again next time.

The villa was absolutely beautiful, the room was immaculately clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower had so many shower spays it felt like a fancy 5 star hotel. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was super friendly. The view from the room was a gorgeous view of the ocean and the location of the villa was very convenient and close to everything. The room also had a full kitchen and an extra bed and your own balcony, my daughter and I fell in love with the villa and the island we extended or stay 2 additional nights.

A dream place. Excellent location, a few minutes from the port and bus terminal, on a frequent bus route. The view is incredible. The carefully landscaped property is a joy to be in. The room ample and very comfortably furnished. Refined elegance. Attention to detail.
